Chicago style deep dish. Drinks and appetizers were really good especially the padron peppers. Server was quick to offer more bread after we tore through it eating the burrata bruschetta. Pizza itself was good. The server warned us up front that it would take a while but the timing was fine. I would say that the pizza was very saucy, more so than I personally have ever had in Chicago. Still it was tasty

I ordered a ten inch pizza and a sausage roll which took an hour to make when there were 3 tables in the restaurant. Then, they give me a prosciutto pizza with basic ham on it, clearly not prosciutto…the manager said sorry we’re understaffed when I asked about it taking an hour. However, I never saw the guy do anything but watch TV. As a former manager, you help out if your team is busy. Plus, the 3 guys who were running a pizza kitchen isn’t understaffed…Def won’t be going back. Worst service and not impressed with the food quality.

Terrible pizza. Asked for prosciutto arugula and got a cheese pizza with red lettuce/spinach/butter lettuce, and a pinch of arugula. I guess arugula is too expensive?

Not a fan of deep dish but I might try theirs. I’m from Chicago. Speaking from experience, their crust is excellent. Almost cracker crispy. The whole wheat has more flavor, though slightly less crispy. Their toppings were good but not great and skimpy for the price. The 14” is a single serving for a big eater.

I typically go here when I’m in the mood for a good deep dish, hence the pictures, but they have all around good pies and general menu items. I know that when I’m worn down or have had a long week/weekend, there isn’t much better that a giant pile of cheese, dough, and hearty tomato sauce to refuel. As a big fan of deep dish, I would definitely recommend Patxi’s over most locations in the city. Can’t wait for my next one so it’s a good thing I’ve got a slice in the fridge!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m just glad I was not in a hurry. But it happens. It was a additional 30 minutes of waiting until my deep dish pizza was ready. Perhaps a mistake. I’m not sure? But the wait was worth it! It was delicious . And this little extra time is the only reason I gave 4 Stars.

If I could rate less than 1 star, I would! We ordered an appetizer, salad, and pizza. After 30 minutes none had come out. When we asked the server about it, it was because they forgot to put our order in. They didn’t offer any sort of resolution to the issue and told us to have a great day as we left.
