1st time there. Salad was wonderful, pizza was delicious, wish the red sauce was marinated a bit more. I’m not one to add sugar but maybe cut it a little, kind of taste out of the can. The crust was awesome. Toppings were just right!

We unknowingly came in 20 min before the kitchen closed which was an hour before most other restaurants on the street so we didn’t think to check. Regardless, the hostess/server (there was only one person on the floor) didn’t mention the closing time and sat us. She then disappeared and didn’t come back even though we were ready to order and then it seemed someone from the kitchen came out and told us we had 5 min to order and rushed us along. Ok

Went in a few minutes before close for a soup to go. It took over 20 minutes to get a cup of minestrone which was barely half filled, and half the vegetables were undercooked. All for $8 and $1 tip. Wasn’t worth $3. I understand the service was trying to close shop but still a bit rude considering.

I wish I had left a review for Patxi’s in San Carlos in the past. I used to really enjoy coming to this location. The service and food used to be great. They must’ve had a change in management. My last two visits were terrible experiences. The pizza is not as good as it used to be. The service has really gone downhill. During my visit today, after being seated for 15 minutes, no one came to my table to ask if I wanted water, a drink or to place an order. I had to flag someone down for service. Four employees, including one who looked like a manager in pants and a dress shirt, were socializing with two people not in uniform at the table behind the host station for the first 30 minutes I was in the restaurant. I don’t mind employees having fun at work as long as you’re also taking care of your job. A server checked on me once in an hour and 20 minutes. I had to flag someone down to get a drink refill. No one brought me a check. I had to walk to the host stand to settle my tab. There were no more than 5 tables seated at a time. The bartender was the most attentive employee. It seems like the staff is working simultaneously in the lounge next door. Most of the Patxi’s employees spent more time next-door, going in and out of an “employee only” door than in Payxi’s itself. I overheard the table next to me say their food was not as good as it used to be and they were not leaving a tip because of the poor service. I won’t be returning to this location anytime soon.

Deep dish pizza made fresh. Worth the wait. Great outside seating for people watching or just to enjoy the weather or some sports on the TV. Good non-alcoholic drink selection. Waiter was personable, helpful and attentive. Great location and you have the opportunity to walk your food off, or walk to dessert in the neighborhood. I don’t normally eat crust, but I’m glad I did… Had a great flavor.

Patxi’s Pizza has been one of my favorite pizza places for a while. This location is no different! The outdoor seating was open and we’ll spaced out. The staff was very friendly and helped us out choosing our dish. The pizza came out within 30 minutes and was literally oozing with cheese. The crust was perfectly crunchy and there was generous amount of toppings. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the mood for a delicious pizza!

We tried the butter chicken deep dish pizza. Really great taste! I was full in just 1-1.5 slices as its pretty heavy but worth it! The staff is friendly. We went in covid times so it was comparatively empty but I have been here before covid and always crowded. The San Carlos downtown is generally calmer so good for a quiet evening
