We came in for lunch. No wait. Our server did a wonderful job. In fact, the servers around us were all friendly and helpful. Our food was great. Be aware that the portions are large. Reasonably priced. Great visit.

My overall experience was pretty good. The service was great. And though it was a Friday evening and extremely busy, the wait wasn’t long to be seated. I ordered an omelet platter (omelet, potatoes and biscuits) and a small stack of pancakes. The platter was excellent. The eggs were fluffy, potatoes cooked perfectly and the biscuits had a pleasant buttery taste. However, I was pretty surprised with the pancakes. My order of pancakes were pretty dense and they weren’t really flavorful. I used syrup but it didn’t save them. They weren’t horrible. But for a place that is supposed to be known for great pancakes, these didn’t come close to meeting my expectations.

Amazing place. Better than the Vagabond by far. Honestly one of the best places to be in the surrounding area. The services from the waiters is amazing, the cooks are always on it, the food tastes great and is very affordable, and it has a good home atmosphere. 10/10 will keep going here.

We come here every year during the “127” garage sales! they have the best Pork Tenderloin sandwiches and the “Pickles on the side are awesome a sweet spicy” kind! the girls are always friendly! Good comfort food!

We have always been happy with the Defiance location & were super excited to try this new location. Imagine our disappointment when we had to literally wait over an hour to get our order. Our two year old was not happy at all about the long wait & during that time our server, Riley, never once checked back on us. My husband finally was able to get his attention & inquire about the wait in which Riley fully placed blame on the kitchen staff & stated he had given them a firm talking to about it. I don’t know who was at fault, however given the fact Riley didn’t ever check on us even after we finally received our food (which was great, but also partially wrong) I’d say Riley was more likely to blame. We love giving great reviews, and although this was one of our worst dining experiences ever, I can tell you the food is great, just frustrating for a hungry 2 year old to watch all the people around you get their food even tho we were there first and never got ours…..if we come back to this location and Riley is our server, we will request someone else. We paid the check and left quite disappointed with the experience.

Visited the new location for the first time. Food was delicious. The portions are very generous so go hungry!! It was busy but we still got our food fast. Waitress was on point. Even the food we saw going out to other tables looked fantastic! I had a feta and spinach omelette with side of fresh fruit and rye toast and hubs had a well cooked burger w onion rings and bowl of soup. We intended to try the pies but we were stuffed and couldn’t finish our meals so pie next time.
