Haven’t been here in a while but now I will become a regular. The dishes we ate were among the best I’ve ever had in all my world travels. Nice sized portions priced for extreme value,warm and welcoming atmosphere perfect for a date night, the severs were extremely attentive and engaging but not obtrusive. It is also a BYOB!!!! I really enjoyed our dinner experience last night!

This was a GREAT dinner. I am extremely picky with Italian food and this was real, quality food made with love. Each dish was better than the next. We were all going crazy for everything. Service was great. True family atmosphere. This is why you support small family businesses in Jersey! Then to top it off, mother’s recipe for the cheesecake. REAL Italian cheesecake, not your diner cheesecake. Amazing experience and we will be back again!!!

The food and service was absolutely amazing. My wifes shrimp was made perfectly. My veal was to die for. I give Paulines 4.5. It would have been 5 stars but we didn’t care for the Italian cheese cake so much. We will try a different dessert next because were definitely coming back.

Dinner Saturday night in the neighborhood and while I’ve lived here for over 17 years I haven’t been to Pauline’s nearly enough. Great service in a quaint little Italian restaurant with awesome food! I was in the mood for traditional Veal Parm and it was melt in your mouth goodness! My wife has one of the fish specials and it was also top notch (fresh, light sauce and flavorful)! We started with the mussels In red sauce and they were delicious also! Thank you Pauline’s for a great meal and we’ll be back..

Ate here twice recently and WOW!! This is what I have been looking for! Small restaurant, family run, great NJ Italian food. Excellent service and food. They put heart and love into their food and service. I would definitely recommend!

a restaurant where they took the time and effort to create a wonderful cozy ambiance. a family run business where the wait staff is friendly helpful and hard working. Ticking another big box, this restaurant is a BYOB. a neighborhood happy spot with fair prices and food that hits most of the high notes. it all started out properly with a loaf of hot bread wrapped in a towel. that’s how you start a meal. the olive oil on the table was greenish and of a high quality which was my second upside surprise. my wife and I split a penne alla vodka which was very good. her salad was huge and fresh. my veal saltimbocca was wonderful and the flavor profile excellent. they work their butts off here and pay attention to the little details giving a great qpr to the customer. CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK. And you won’t ever feel rushed. Just go and give them a nice tip because they aren’t making money by charging $16 for a glass of sangria like some portuguese restaurant a mile up the street.

The food, the service, and the atmosphere of Pauline’s is top notch!!!! I have the stuffed veal chop and it was incredibly delicious. It melted in my mouth and was perfectly seasoned. I substituted the prosciutto stuffing with spinach and it did not disappoint. I loved it so much that I deliberately save some for lunch today and I am so happy I did!

Overpriced for quality and ability of chef. Better around for the money. Mediocre at best. No notification on menu you are going to be ripped off for using a credit card.
