Where do I start.. our party of 4 was seated quickly. There was a new waitress training and she was on it until we didn’t see her again… I don’t know if she quit?? We ordered our food which was fried pickles,2 buffalo burgers, Indian taco and an elk burger. they came to tell us no buffalo ribeye. Np we just replaced it with a buffalo burger. It took a little long to get food but that wasn’t a problem either. Food came and only 3 of us had our food . For some reason they didn’t bring out the second buffalo burger. We were half way done eating and it finally came. I got the Indian taco and it was ok . The chili was watery and the fries were under cooked or old. Everyone seemed to like their burgers. We couldn’t get drink refills to save our lives .. then we were given the check but we wanted dessert. There was a lot of staff but it seemed to me that everyone was running around but not getting that much done. This place has a lot of potential. I think we’ll be back but I’m not sure.

I actually ate here twice while visiting Cherokee. The first time was for lunch, with more experienced staff. While there the first time, I noticed the buffalo ribeye on the menu and made a plan to return another night, for supper, to try it. When we returned, they let us know they didn’t have any. This evening the wait staff was a total mess and completely overwhelmed. Constantly delivering orders to the wrong tables, missing needed drink refills, and not listening to orders well. Our food took, right at, 40 minutes. And, our medium rare ordered steaks came out very well done. We didn’t send it back because we didn’t want to wait and because the obvious stress the staff were under. One table got up and left while waiting on their food after witnessing the chaos. Even though this particular visit had many shortcomings, I’m giving 3 stars for the better service at lunch, and at least the waitresses were aware of the service inconveniences and were trying to resolve them as best they could.

Let me start by saying, this was our first time trying Paul’s but it won’t be our last. Also, there were some non positive things with our meal but I think this visit deserves 5* review. I had the fried trout. It was delicious and perfectly cooked! Super flaky with a nice crunch. Sweet potato fries were huge…unlike any that I have ever had before! Coleslaw is Sweet and super tasty! (If this was my place, I would serve it on/in a dish instead of the plastic condiment cup. It would make for better presentation) My wife had the Ribeye. While it didn’t come out cooked to perfection, the owner made sure that she made my wife happy. We also got a slice of cake for dessert. This thing was huge and perfect for sharing. It was super moist and tasty! Brianna was a great server. She was very friendly and energetic.

Our food was really good. My husband’s trout was cooked very well. Good flavor my Indian taco was amazing. The Indian fry bread was wonderful. They are short staffed. That being said service was a little slow but in my opinion, it was well worth it. We will definitely be back.

Food was delicious, but I did not receive my appetizer. Was never asked if I needed a refill on my tea and when I walked up to asked for a refill I was met with a sigh! Waitress cleaned a table beside us and strayed chemicals all over my daughter who is 12 yrs old! Place needs more staff because there wasn’t but three table full and we were at one of them..a two top!

Service was slow from the wait at the door for several minutes without being acknowledged to the longer than normal wait for our food. Tables were not cleared quickly. There were dirty tables when we got there and some still when we left.

We saw this place while driving by in the RZR so we decided to get something to eat. We ordered our food and waited for about 45 minutes for it to arrive. Me and my son had the elk burger and my wife had a cheese steak sub and we all split a indian taco. The food was bland and and the chili on the Indian taco tasted like it was from a can.

We stopped here for dinner and had the Indian Tacos. The fry bread was different from what we’ve had at other places; it was more like a thick loaf, I guess, with the taste and texture like a (savory) funnel cake – I liked it, but it definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. I thought the dish was pretty good overall.
