Stopped in here for a takeout order and the staff was friendly and fast. The pizza was absolutely delicious and had great flavor and crust. We thankfully ordered a large and had leftovers which were just as good as the day before. Definitely recommend!

Great service and great pizza! The service was friendly and energetic, and I learned a lot about the restaurant while I was there. The pizza is fantastic and the sauce has a really good flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh. Online ordering was easy and user friendly. I will definitely be coming back, and I recommend giving Pauly’s a try.

We order pizza here regularly and we love it! The people are always really nice and they are very accommodating!! I always ask for changes to the pre-made pizzas and they don’t mind at all. Love their pizza, it’s our go-to place! Haven’t eaten at the restaurant or ordered anything other than pizza, so I can’t speak to those. But highly recommend!!

The pizza and salad here was delicious, and hot when we picked it up after placing an online order. Not to mention the wonderful customer service. My heart goes out to the woman working at the counter last night, as the woman ahead of my husband in line acted atrociously toward the employee when she was notified that they do not accept the coupon she wanted to use. The employee kindly called her boss to confirm, and he could hear on the phone the foul way this customer was speaking to the employee and told her she had every right to refuse service to this customer. I applaud their support for their employees and we will absolutely be returning customers as we are new to the area!

This is going to be long story but well worth it. I have literally driven across the country this past week. My wife and I are from the Toledo area of Ohio. We looked at some reviews on google to find a good pizza while we are in San Diago for the week. I happily stumbled across Pauly’s Pizza Joint. We ordered the Calzone and the Stromboli. These were both amazing. We also got to meet Pauly. We had an amazing visit while picking up our food. I am sorry I cannot remember the young ladies name that was there cooking with him, but I do remember she was from upstate New York. She is a wonderful addition to this business and makes you enjoy being inside. I do not think I can come with the proper words to explain how wonderful the food and these two individuals are. I will be eating here on my next visit and every visit as long as they are open. I would recommend this place to anyone that even thinks of trying this food. I cannot comment on the pizza because I did not have any, but it has to be amazing if anything like what I had. We are leaving in one day, but I may try and sneak out to try a slice and I will write another review if I do. I will leave you with this, if you are even considering this place as an option GO GET SOME!! You will be sorry if you don’t, and if you get a chance to talk to Pauly embrace it. Five stars is not enough so I am giving them 10!!!!!!!!!!!
