We placed an order online thinking this was going to be a great experience and unfortunately it was not. I spoke with Emily because when my husband brought the food home, we were missing an order of fries so he had to go back up there and get the fries and come back by this time our food was already fairly warm so that tells me the food wasn’t hot to start with. Very disappointed in the way the food looked the presentation was not nice. It looks like the food had been thrown into the containers. Called back because the biscuits were marked on the bottom and asked if there was anything they could do upon making this right and She said online orders are tricky because I don’t know what the food look like or the distance ( we live less than two minutes ) but honestly that shouldn’t matter because customer service should be customer service! So then she said, let me put you on hold a minute and she came back and said I can give you a 10% discount on your next… Order… I probably won’t make a next order from that restaurant. It’s definitely not the way that it used to be . My eggs also I asked for onions and peppers and they put sliced onions so they were long and stringy and it was just really disgusting.!

Ran across this place while in the town of asheboro. The food was downright good and as the front of the restaurant said best hamburgers in town they where huge and amazing make sure you order the paw-paw’s special to get the hamburger on the special bun which takes the hamburger to a whole new level of goodness. If you are in the area or passing by and are in need of a good spot to eat and fill you up Paw-Paw’s is the place. Make sure you get the seasoned fries also. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cole slaw was too plain, need a little color, onion rings, too thick and not crispy a light batter with sour cream, milk, egg, seasoning, and corn starch, onions sliced a little thinner. French fries were good and the Philly cheesesteak was great. Prices were good too. Definitely will be back.

I asked for a burger with cheddar cheese chilli and onions. I got a burger with a drop of chilli and american cheese. Then the waitress argues that I didn’t ask for cheddar when I clearly did. I got a bunch of attitude and an argument apparently customers are not right here. Burger to the dump and would not support a place with nasty staff any longer. Also they ask for a tip for takeaway and don’t offer free refills even though there soda cups are 90% ice.

Great hamburgers and decent crinkle-cut fries but I am a strong critic and they are not my favorite. Easy to customize and under $35 for four people, with food, drinks, two cookies, and tip. One comment is the hamburger did fall apart on me as I was eating it but I just put it back together and kept eating. It is finger (hand) food.

When I saw my double burger coming towards me I couldnt believe how good it looked and how big it was. A cheeseburger with a cheese pull is something few get to see. When I took my first juicy bite it was literally Burger heaven. Easily one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life! Dont sleep on the dessert either. My smores cookie was warm, gooey, and decadent. The service was second to none as well. I am not overstating it when I say that this place is a must see for anyone who loves good food. Paw-Paw’s Place is an hour away from where I live and I will gladly make the trip to eat here again.

Paw-paws is so good!! We got the paw-paws special which is a bacon double cheeseburger with all the fixings. The patties are actually handmade. Ain’t frozen here. The staff were so nice and friendly and we had 7 people in our party. Only bad part was I really wanted some dessert but they had run out for the night. ☹️ Hopefully we can try it next time.
