ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! My family and I just ate here because most of the restaurants close around 2 (it was 10min to 2 and website says they close at 4). We walked in and was told they were closing in 2 minutes, so we prepared to walk out to find an alternative option for lunch when the waitress said it was ok and that they’d take us. We ordered, got our food after half an hour. Our waitress was nice enough although it seemed like she didn’t want to be there, had no problem with her service, but after we paid the check and were preparing to get up and leave, another waitress came from the back looking irritated and said nastily and unnecessarily, “You need to leave in 5 minutes, we’ve been closed but still served you for an hour!”. I told her we were already leaving and tried to walk out the front doors which were locked. She said “You need to use the next door cafe doors since we’re closed thank you have a nice day” very mean and sarcastically. I said “You don’t need to be so sarcastic, try being nice.” and walked out. There was a group of people outside that heard us and I told them they were very mean people, and they agreed having had a negative past experience with them as well. Food was below average, wait for food was too long when there was only one other table aside from ours, and the other waitress’s attitude was horrible. She may have had a bad morning or is just a miserable person in general, but she does NOT belong in customer service.

Wonderful place – we were welcomed by a very kind and chipper staff who checked on us regularly. They politely refrained from giving us our assigned table until they were sure it was spotless. The food is very good and offered a nice taste of my southern hometown during this trip in the frigid northern landscape. The restaurant is very clean and well-kempt with eye-catching decor. My only small warning is that the tables are Sharpied on with biblical scripture and the choice of music is Christian radio (however it’s not played too loudly); if this makes you uncomfortable you may not enjoy the environment as much, but regardless of where your spiritualism lies, the other wonderful elements will quickly distract you. This place is certainly a dream to me.

Delicious onion rings – so good ordered a second round. The menu is straight to the point, basic comfort American food. Family friendly atmosphere. Good for a late lunch after walking the shops.

We went to the diner for lunch. It was not busy, 2 other tables. To begin with I asked if they had a kids menu I was told all items can be made for kids. In my mind it’s means less food reduced cost. That is not the case it is the same price as the adult meal. Plus a beverage is extra even though it’s kid size. It took 20 min to get our food. The quality was poor. I had a BLT the lettuce was wilted, no Mayo, and bread barely toasted. Sadly I would not recommend this diner.

Worst $41 breakfast we’ve ever had and on a Wed. morning 8:30ish. Took over 45 minutes for our food. No crowd. Only have turkey sausage. I ordered chewy bacon which has to be (fresh cooked), because I know, I use to work in the restaurant industry, they cook a ton of bacon at like 5:30 in the morning, then heat it up as ordered. That’s why you always get crispy well done bacon. My wife built her order (2 eggs, ham, hashbrowns with country gravy, wheat bread) I ordered the #10 3 eggs, country potatoes, bacon, wheat toast, coffee) got one single cup of coffee. She brought our food and my bacon was crisp well done, not chewy like I asked. I said “um I ordered chewy bacon, this is obviously crisp bacon” then she blew me away and said “what? Isn’t that chewy, it looks chewy to me” They charge $2 for side order of toast, it’s one 1/4inch slice of bread, and had the look of being toasted about the same time as the bacon. The ham my wife had was about 3in. X 3in X 1/8in. We traded bacon for ham. The only things we had that were cooked to order were eggs, hashbrowns, and country potatoes. We ate most of our food as we were hungry.

DEFINITELY DO NOT RECCOMEND: Waitress had a terrible attitude from the get go, The place was empty and it took almost 20 min for her to take our order while laughing and talking with other staff. Brought out food that was made incorrectly and of very poor quality( blames on supply issues) Arguesd with me about what the menu said ( even though its right there in black and white) then refused to have it corrected or taken off the check when nobody even touched it. I refused to keep arguing with her so I paid in cash and left!

Run away! Everything about this place is HORRIBLE. Especially the service. We should’ve read the reviews first. I’m surprised they’re still in operation. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that they are close to Ice Cream Alley.
