Pizzeria by Pietro’s is by far the best place for pizza. Located in Marshall, TX which is approximately a 50 minute drive from Shreveport/Bossier, it is well worth the trip to give them a try. The food is prepared fresh and you can even watch through the glass in the dining area as it is prepared. The Executive Chef is usually on sight and is a great person to have a conversation with. He is also very knowledgeable of the extraordinary selection of wines. The pizza is unmatched, the spaghetti and meatballs is great and more than enough portions. This is our go to when trying to decide on a lunch or dinner outing. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

The food was good but the service was lacking. This was our first time here and it appears we went during an unusually busy time. We were seated within 15 min but then waited another 20 min for anyone to come for our drink order. It wasn’t until my wife stopped someone that we got a server. The only other issue was the calamari had good texture but wasn’t very flavorful on its own. I recommend getting aioli if you order the calamari.

Food was great! Our server wasn’t very attentive to us, actually made us feel as if we didn’t belong. I continuously had to get his attention because he never checked on us although he constantly checked on the table next to ours. I hate to say it but he gave us a racist vibe.

My wife and I are from New Jersey and happened to be in Marshall for the Division III Women’s College World Series. We found Pazzeria on our first day in Marshall and what a lucky find it was. The service was spectacular, the food was absolutely fantastic and Joseph, the owner, went out of his way to make us feel at home. We found it so enjoyable we ate there the following night and then ordered take out from there the third night. Have the cheesecake to finish your meal as it is one of the best cheesecakes I have every tasted.

Absolutely fantastic pizza. As former NYers living in the South, we took a drive to Marshall after finding the pizza from a Google search. Well worth the 40 mile trip! The best pizza we’ve had since leaving NY nearly 4 years ago. Staff and owner were super nice and we will absolutely be back for more!

This place was outstanding. They had a seasonal pasta dish and it was shrimp Florentine, it was the best pasta I’ve ever had. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDED TO THE MENU!!! Visit this place if you are looking for a unique and reasonably priced restaurant. I will make a 45min drive to eat here again! Pasta was my favorite but everything we had was delicious!
