A satisfactory experience with reasonable pricing and service. We entered on a busy Saturday night, be aware that the place gets packed! Out of the items we ordered, the Miso Ramen and the Chicken Yakisoba were the best; I highly recommend both of them. Our waiter was patient and friendly, and the food came out relatively fast, which we appreciated. If you’re looking for some moderately priced Japanese food in San Diego, this is a great place to go.

We went to PB sushi about 12 years ago and the food and service was great. Fast forward 12 years, last month we went there and it was the most terrible sushi we have ever had. The fish was not fresh. We ate one piece of the sushi roll, paid the bill, and left, and we will never return. Don’t waste your money on this place.

Pretty average sushi at an above average price for lunch. I had the Dragon roll, which was pretty but not tasty, and the snow crab roll, which was tasty but not pretty. The patio outside utilized a card table and folding chairs. I was sated but not too impressed.

We ordered through UberEats. Wait was 40 mins which was fine because it was a weekend. App notified us the food was ready. When we went to pick up the order we had to wait an additional 20-30 mins. Staff is slow. They don’t really seem attentive if you’re not in a table. When we got home we noticed our order was placed in the to-go container upside down and the hamachi roll was messily done. There’s much better spots with better order size and better prices.
