So good! We got there a little before closing but they were still very nice, brought the food out quickly, and it tasted deliciously. So good! Love the hainan and pork. I killed the rice.

Very simple menu where everything is good but nothing is truly extraordinary. Prices are fair, again not cheap or expensive. Good time and very refreshing in chinatown where to many places have tired encyclopedic menus or are crazy pricy.

This spot serves authentic Cantonese food in a modernized setting. The menu is I’m so happy that the food here is just as good as all the blogs say it is because now I have a go to place in Chinatown :,)

I’ve seen this place before on food pages, on social media, and heard good things about the food here…so I thought I’d give it a try!

OMG. The LA Times review was no lie… Like being transported back to the 80s as a kid visiting Chinatown with family. Inspired, quality, authentic cooking. An old school experience updated with top notch ingredients and no trendy fluff.

I was throughly impressed with the inviting atmosphere and warm familial touch of the food. It was my first meeting with a young Asian American chef, and he suggested we try this new staple to Chinatown. Walking the alleys of Chinatown to arrive at Pearl River Deli, set the stage for the origins, and traditions of the food. Chinatown in itself transports you into another world, so upon entering, the pieces all came together.

Extremely tasty food. Love what chef Johnny is doing with PRD. Always quality ingredients going into each dish. Highly recommend!

Based on reviews, we decided to try this place. This is not a sit down and order place but a counter order and a server brings the food to the table. The bbq pork was good but the serving was smallish for the price. The beef stew noodle was also good and the brisket was almost melt in your mouth tender and flavorful. The only condiment offered was a sweet chili sauce that you had to retrieve from the counter as well was the tap water. Overall experience was good but price point was higher than other places I’ve frequented. It’s worth a try

Charming casual spot in Chinatown where you can dine in and enjoy a delicious Macau pork chop bun, char siu, and Hainan chicken (weekends only) and take away heavenly baked goods. Tasty vegetarian options available.

Locally owned spot with authentic Cantonese Chinse food. Highly recommended! The 3 item combo with the pork belly is to die for and the Hainan Chicken over rice was amazing! I was so glad that I came on a Saturday since they only serve it on the weekends! 5 stars!
