I am really surprised about this Pearl’s Korean BBQ located in the Waipahu Shopping Mall next to Longs. I have been to other Pearl’s BBQ (Kapolei) I have to say this one surprised me. The place was very very clean..I have been to the one in Kapolei, and their restaurant was dusty and the floor was not so clean…This one in Waipahu was wiped down. The walls and counters were clean.

I ordered meals to be delivered to my friend, the other food made it okay and my friend said it the food are great. However, the soup I ordered since they are feeling under the weather, leaked. The soup was put in a paper container and essentially will leak.

I had the meat jun/ spicy chicken combo. The meat jun was so fatty and they made my spicy chicken way too spicy! Rice was mushy and their side vegetables should be kept colder. Other than all that I received great service and the place is kept clean.

Really surprised by this place! Came here for lunch between jobs with the crew. Picked up the meat Jun regular plate. That plate had like 4 lbs of food on it. It was amazing! Took some home for later and had to pick up a coffee to keep me from sleeping to the next job! Haha!

Customer service was great but did not like the food. I ordered the Kalbi and Chicken combo. I grew up in a Korean house and no how the food should taste. The prices are the same as other locations.
