We are not from the area and decided to order from Pearl’s on Thursday night, around 7:30. We placed our order and it seemed expensive. Then it asked us about adding a tip, which we always do on pickup orders regardless. Once we finished the order they sent us an email saying that our order would be ready by 8:39 pm. It also showed in addition to our 20% gratuity that they had automatically added a 20% service charge!!!!!! So we basically tipped twice because they have a gratuity charge built in, with an ADDITIONAL prompt for you to add gratuity! BE CAREFUL WHEN PAYING AND CHECK YOUR BILL! That’s why it was so high. I figured that the food was hopefully going to be great, especially at that price point, and I couldn’t do anything about it now. We went to pick it up, and it wasn’t ready at 8:39. They were closing at 9:00 and said it would be 10-15 more minutes until it was ready. Our family was in the car so my husband came back to the car to wait with us. My husband went back to pick up the food and the doors were locked but they let him in. I figured they were rushing the order and I was right. Most of us do not eat dairy, and eat vegan options, while one person can have dairy and meat. He ordered the pizza special with Colcannon, corned beef, mozz, swiss, and special sauce. The pizza was basically mashed potatoes with an absolute excess of butter and no spinach, kale, or green onions like in a traditional colcannon. There was beef but not corned beef. We got one Caesar salad, because I figured we would be able to share for $10. It was very small. We ordered the Caesar dressing on the side and did not receive any, so we had to use the ranch that we paid extra for on the salad that we bought to use with the wings. The vegan pizza we ordered, we aren’t sure if it was truly vegan because several of us were up sick on Thursday night. The “breadsticks” was French bread cut up, and the Buffalo cauliflower “wings” were basically raw cauliflower in sauce. The vegan chocolate pudding was actually a mouthful of salt in every bite we attempted to eat, even after we stirred it and had to be thrown out. We were all beyond disappointed and had to throw most of the food away because it was inedible. I could not recommend this to anyone with dietary restrictions because I’m not sure they are followed. We still cannot believe we spent $120 to go to bed hungry, and then wake up sick.

So happy to find this spot. My favorite breakfast in recent memory. The bagels were just perfect.

The food was delicious but the service was very poor. We now understand why they have a mandatory 20% service charge added to the bill because you would never tip that much if you’re going by performance. We ordered a starter and our pizza at the same time and received the starter after about 25 minutes but the pizza took over an hour. Very minimal effort was made to check on the table or let us know that our food was still being prepared.

One of my favorite dining experiences ever! The muscles were amazing and I can not stop thinking about them and then the pizza was also incredible! Drink menu was great and I got an orange wine which I was stoked about. Can’t wait to go again! Perfect spot for a date or to catch up with friends.

This is my favorite pizza place! My boyfriend and I have tried out numerous pizza places in Lexington and this one is by far the best. We went to New York in January and had amazing pizza and this reminds us of that pizza everytime. The quality is always consistent, the staff has been very friendly, and overall the service is very fast. I recommend this place to everyone!

Really delicious wood-fired pizzas!!! The H25 was my favorite!!! The large pieces of Chanterelle (…I think) mushrooms paired with cheese crumbles and sun-dried tomatoes was a symphony of flavors. My husband really enjoyed the Marinara pizza. Though it’s not your typical Marinara… it’s loaded with spicy peppers (the menu said fermented Serranos, however they looked & tasted like jalapeños), capers and Kalmata olives. It’s also vegan, so no cheese. The Gelato was really tasty; Almond was our favorite and the Vegan Chocolate pudding was great too. Texture-wise, it reminded me of a mousse, wasn’t overly sweet, and was sprinkled with a bit of salt. It had a very rich chocolate / cocoa flavor, perfect for dark chocolate lovers.

Pizza was great, vegan salad was pretty good, cauliflower wings were definitely more of a dry rub than a saucy wing and that was disappointing for us. Definitely recommend this place, just maybe not the cauliflower wings.
