I will definitely not be back. My cousin didn’t even eat half of his meal because he did not like it. My cousin’s wife said that her meal was cool meaning not hot. As for my meal my fried catfish was not cooked all the way through and definitely not hot. When we got there we had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated and then had to wait for a while for the waitress to even get our drink order. I understand that a lot of places are having issues with even having enough help but it was Friday night and they were not busy. Actually drove to Artesia to go to La Fonda but they were closed. If we had known how bad our experience would be I for one would of went back to Carlsbad. Bad food and horrible service.

The patty melt on St. Patrick’s Day was absolutely delicious! The perfectly cooked patty and melted cheese sandwiched between slices of crispy rye bread made for a mouthwatering meal. I highly recommend trying it out.

My med rare was perfect, but my wife ordered med well and also received med rare. Fortunately, the salad bar and loaded baked with the cooked ends of the steak was good, even if she couldn’t eat most of the steak. The waitress was very nice and kept our cups filled.

I had the best ribeye in town and the salad bar is second to none in the state. Unfortunately, I only rated this place 3-star since these folks do not have a liquor license. This would be a 5-star rating if I could have a great wine with a great steak!

I gave restaurant 4 stars because our waitress was awesome! It was almost empty friday night when we got there so even better. I ordered the steak melt 7oz with side of loaded mash. My steak had mushroom with cheese and onion it was really good. The Loaded mash was cold and not great 🙁 We were able to go to salad bar and it had a great variety. My Hubby got a Sirloin 12 oz and he did not like it he said it was soft then hard and left almost all of it. His mash potatoes were also cold. We really liked the rolls they offered. It was an ok restaurant.
