Wow… what an enjoyable experience! Let me tell you why I plan to return every chance I get… first – the environment. The second you walk in, you are greeted with open spaces, and the immediate feeling of cleanliness. Light colors; white chairs and tables, with light colored walls and tiled floor. If this place was not kept clean, you would know immediately… something I feel several restaurants in the area cannot match. Next comes the menu. Broad in reach, but not crazy big. Easily served fresh and quick, as a restaurant of this type should aim for. Not convoluted, but just enough variety to keep you guessing each time you order if you enjoy trying something new each time you visit. First is the chips and salsa. The chips are thin and salted, and the salsa is served in a mini pitcher to pour into your respective bowls. The salsa is chilled. I requested limes to compliment the chips and salsa. Next are the drinks. I’ve always judged a new Mexican restaurant on a few qualities… their environment, service, queso, and margaritas. Queso was affordable, tasty, but a bit runny. Their margaritas were bold, strong, pretty, and worth every penny. I recommend the traditional margarita with a Tajin rim. Next comes service. We were waited on by Jeff. What a charismatic, caring, and professional waiter he was. I will make sure I request him any time we go. When I ordered my entree, I requested Fresh jalapeños. He asked if i was sure I wanted fresh jalapeños. Well he returned shortly after with a suggestion of the Chile Toreado. Never heard of it. He insisted, so I agreed. It was a decorative plate of fresh jalapeños, halved longways, lightly fried and mixed with Tajin and Lime. WOW. What an amazing and unexpected treat. It definitely amped up my experience there. My main complaint was that the steak, chicken, and shrimp for the fajitas were tough and a bit overcooked. Our booth was filled with natural light, and also had a stone wall next to the walkway it was next to, which acted like a natural privacy barrier to the rest of the restaurant. Overall, I give this spot a 4.6 out of 5. They could improve their fajita meats a bit, but otherwise it was an awesome experience. If you go date night style with two people, expect to spend $50 easy, but closer to $80 with drinks and an app, not including the tip. Give it a visit and see if you agree.

This was our first time here and it was wonderful! Has to be the nicest mexican restaurant in conroe. The food was absolutely delicious! And shout out to our wonderful waiter sandj! I think that is her name but I’m not sure! She didn’t have a name tag on but I asked that is what I heard. Definitely try!

It’s a very pretty restaurant, but I honestly wish they’d put more effort into their food and service.

I go here for margaritas that’s it. Service seemed disorganized from the last time we were there and ive never had anything here in the menu that I’ve really thought was good. We’ve been here a few times. Margaritas on point though. A medium could be shared by 2 and the large by 3. Here is the pineapple jalapeno and the other is strawberry.

We have been going there since they opened. My wife and I love how they have decorated the place. The ambiance is nice and airy. They place is open and bright and the decor is bright. We love the food and pricing. Parking is easy. The down side is always the service. We used to sit at a booth, then even tried the bar. We usually go late afternoon early evening. Usually once we are seated then we get drinks the orders are quickly served. Problems starts once food is served. NO WAIT staff to be found, no more drinks to be ordered, no check to be obtained. It seems once food if served they don’t care anymore about us. It is now that we are a pain to serve, we always tip well so not sure what the problem is. We took our kids to Pedro’s a few weeks ago because it USED to be our favorite Mexican restaurant place to eat. But after the lousy service, the waiter that did not understand anything that we tried to order time to find another Mexican restaurant to visit.

Why so serious
Where do I start? We came to eat dinner hear tonight. Just wanted to give it a try since it recently opened. We started off with margaritas. When they came out both of them didn’t taste like it was alcohol in them. We never got our chips. The food came out cold and our waitress was very inattentive. The food was horrible. I will never eat here again. The food was a 0. It didn’t have taste at all. I still can’t believe the food came out cold. Oh, almost forget the margaritas were on sale and the waitress charged me $41 for 3 margaritas. This placed was the worst i’ve ever eaten in my life. I can’t even explain how sorry this food was. Please don’t waste your time coming here. Save yourself time and money. Oh by the way, my tab was $96 for some watery margaritas, quesadillas, chicken tenders and some tacos. I eat Mexican food all the time and this place is the worst. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME BY COMING HERE SAVE YOURESELF TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful experience! Amazing service, amazing food, I can’t say anything bad about this place. It’s immaculate inside and the peach daiquiri I got was delicious! The salsa actually had flavor and warm chips. Highly recommend this place. I’m glad they took over El Bosque I hope they replace every El Bosque location. I’ll definitely be back for more Amazing food and drinks.
