We always order the bacon breakfast burrito, with cheese and potatoes. It’s delicious, and filling. More than worth the money. The salsas are the icing on the cake. Red or green, you can’t go wrong, either way!

The meat is always great, but the past few times I’ve ordered carne asada fries the fries are HARD. Not sure if they’re old fries, or overcooking them but it’s terrible. Not ONE soft fry, and I’m only leaving a bad review because it’s not an isolated incident.

I’ve been going to Pedro’s for quite some time and for the most part I’ve been impressed. Prices and are decent and the food as been tasty for the must part. My last three visits unfortunately have failed to meet my expectations. I used to always get the fried chicken burrito, but the last one I had which was over a couple months ago gave me the worse stomach pains ever. I honestly believe it has to be the dressing inside of it was the culprit. It may have been left sitting out too long uncovered or not kept at the proper temp. Being that I wasn’t going to let one bad experience keep me away I decided to go to Pedro’s again and this time I ordered their surf and turf burrito. This is about 2 months since the fried chicken burrito incident and I was looking forward to diving into my shrimp and carne asada burrito, my expectations were let down. After about 3 bites I had to the oncoming pains as the fried chicken burrito and what I realized was that the surf and turf burrito has that very same dressing in the fired chicken burrito. I had to throw that burrito away was very disappointed. I truly hope Pedro’s tacos can learn from this review and address this issue that’s occurred to me and im sure others. I’ve had plenty of the items off their menu have nothing, but positive things to say, but that dressing is unsat and needs to be fixed l.

Basic Americanized Mexican food. A bit bland, expected more authenticity and flavor. Overpriced for those qualities. Very filling though.

Very tiny portions for price and almost certain my burrito was microwaved the tortilla was rock hard and overall bad taste it’s located in a gritty gas station filled with homeless and broken glass. I have been to dozens of Mexican takeout type restaurants all over San Diego, in my opinion this one is the worst so far. There was a reason the place looked closed chairs on tables and I was the only customer it’s like they’re trying to be bad, the two Mexican older ladies cooking were friendly although very bad cooks, I liked watching endless summer on the tv there the food was made quickly but shouldn’t have been I would’ve waited longer not to have microwaved food

THIS IS ONE THICK BURRITO!!! Packed with generous bits of everything! Mine is a California Burrito, and my mouth is watering just remembering how delicious it was. But more than that – the staff was friendly and smiling and the receipt said “come back soon!”. Everything about this was awesome; highly recommend.

Always worth the trip for hot fresh original food! Even got a free sticker this time. Been a long time visitor of all the locations but this one has a special place in my heart. Love you Pedros!
