The first thing you notice in this big building that used to be a Ryan’s Buffet; is the beautiful, ornate interior. The food, service, and atmosphere at all front and center at this truly authentic restaurant. Fast service and hot food are just the tip of the entire experience. Definitely a great place to stop in for a big group or a small one on one romantic date. Prices are fair and food is hot, fresh, and delicious!

I ordered the street tacos. They come as an order of three. Your protein options are beef, pork carnitas (garlicky pork), al pastor (pork in a sweet smoky mole’ sauce with pineapple) or chicken. You also get Spanish style rice, charro beans, onions, cilantro, pico de gallo and two types of hot sauces (one red, one green). For my beverage, I ordered a medium passionfruit margarita on the rocks. It was the perfect blend of sweet and tart. Their medium is quite a generous serving. I finished off the meal with sopapillas. The light fluffy dough was fried to perfection, dusted with cinnamon sugar and garnished with whipped cream and a cherry! Our server was extremely attentive and friendly. There was a live band singing covers of popular songs from every genre and couples dancing and enjoying themselves on the dance floor. I enjoy each and every visit because the food, drinks, service, entertainment and atmosphere are consistently top notch!

I was in town visiting and wanted to try this place out. Staff was incredible and the food was served hot and fresh. Wait staff was also incredible. We got our food fast. Would recommend to everyone and will be back to visit again next month.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Fresh made tortillas, friendly and quick service. The bartender, Jose is awesome. He always has a smile and a kind word to offer. The food is excellent.

Loved it! Food was great especially the chips and salsa. We almost didn’t go in because it looked real busy and thought there would be a long wait, glad we did. No wait, food came really quickly and was amazing. Our waitress, Michelle was awesome! They had a great band and lively atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

The chips and salsa were great. The salsa was very good, not having too much cilantro (my younger brother says no such thing as too much cilantro). I ordered the beef taco, beef enchilada combo (with rice and beans). The taco was pretty good. The beans were a bit bland. I enjoyed the rice. I usually mix the rice and beans, which I did here and enjoyed it that way. I ended the meal with sopapillas, which were very good!

This is one of the better Mexican Restaurants Ive been to in Alexandria. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. The food came out fast and everything was good. My order was a little off but for me thats not a huge deal. The waitress was quick to correct everything. The Chips and Salsa is fresh and very good. They also had a live band, they didn’t play much but when they did it created a fun environment. Overall I give it . My wife and I agree that it’s worth going back and taking the kids next time.
