Some of the best food in the Quad Cities is found at Pee Wees. The poboys are awesome top notch. Meat pies are phenomenal as well. Pretty much everything is homemade. Authentic soul food done right. Great people as well.

Owner came out and talked to me and my friends and made us feel like family. Food was great and reasonably priced.

The food was excellent! The smothered chicken was amazing and the greens were phenomenal. The gumbo was fabulous! We were hoping to dine in, but the dining room was closed. We will definitely be going back!

Everything is made to order,I’ve only had take out one other time. This time I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Burger was good but top bun was hard hard. Fries were ok but not the kind that heat up well later. So share or order another side.

I just bought lunch from here and I tell you, it’s so good! Food was fantastic, service was great! Do the do dine in at all? It was only take out when I went there. Still, 4.8⭐

So Disappointed. This place is around the corner from work, and I’m a huge fan of red beans and rice, so I was excited to give it a try. I ordered ahead, and requested a ‘cup’ for $5.35. I allegedly received a ‘bowl’ and was charged $7.50. The container it’s in is roughly equivalent to a 1 cup measuing cup. This is overpriced at $5.35, so to find out it was $7.50 was painful. Adding insult to injury, the cornbread is an additional charge. It’s only 75 cents, but after paying $7.50 for the beans, it’s a smack in the face. Topping things off, the beans were not warm, and the cornbread still had a chill to the touch, as if it were baked yesterday and refrigerated overnight. After giving it all a warming zap in the microwave, I can report that the food is really good. I gobbled it down quickly. But I did not get the amount I would have expected for the price I paid, and I am unlikely to spend like this again when, soon enough, I can hop over to Popeyes and get twice the beans for half the price. Or just make my own for 1/10th.

A little slow, but delicious. Plan on waiting for 30 min. Still worth it. Haven’t seen dine-in open in a while
