I recently celebrated my birthday at Peekamoose and I couldn’t have asked for a more delightful experience. The standout feature of our evening was undoubtedly the impeccable service provided by our waiter. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His suggestions were spot-on and enhanced our dining experience. Now, let’s talk about the food. Oh my goodness, the food! Every dish that graced our table was a testament to the chef’s expertise. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors that danced on our taste buds. The attention to detail and the quality of ingredients were apparent in every dish. The generous portion sizes were a pleasant surprise!

Our family had a SPECTACULAR dining experience at Peekamoose during Memorial Day Weekend. The service was among the best we’ve encountered. The food was EXCELLENT and prepared perfectly. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the dining room, while outside was the beautiful Catskill Mountains. This was by far our favorite dining experience visiting this area. Highly recommended.

My husband, and 2 kids sat in the dining room section of this restaurant. Amazing service, food came out quickly, and everything was so delicious! I loved how the kids menu actually had real healthy options for the little ones. And the zucchini fazzoletti vegan entree was insanely good!! Can’t wait to come back again when we are in the area!

Incredible dinner experience I was not expecting. Food was ridiculously good, service was impeccable and to top it off they have movie nights! Can’t wait to dine here again!

Very good food and ambience. Even with nearly full tables in the restaurant, the service was fast and correctly fulfilled, as well as the noise level was low enough that we could carry on conversations within our group. Although the name is counter-intuitive, the “steamed parsnip cake” dessert is decadent and worth visiting just for that.

The appetizers were tasty and the drinks were amazing. Entrees were bland and overpriced. I had a zucchini entree and so did the table next to me. We both got the salt shaker because it was like eating plain noodles. Would definitely go for drinks and appetizers again but not for the entrees. We also got desert that was so skimpy on ice cream, you barely got to taste it. Cute atmosphere and a must for drinks but go somewhere else for your main course and desert.

5 stars across the board. From being seated, to the gentle banter from the hostess, to the food and cocktails that surpassed all expectations for its quality and creativity, we highly recommend this place if you are anywhere near. We were seated in the bar area because we asked to be in the warmest place away from a/c and that was a fortuitous request. The ambiance in the bar can’t be beat and we would definitely dine there again as opposed to the main dining room. Unlike another reviewer, we found the Zucchini entree to be excellent. The Trout butterflied over cold watermelon though took the prize. So yum. The night at Peekamoose will linger in our dining memories for a long time.

Very nice dining environment with the Catskills touch. Food is a little overpriced but good quality. The seafood dishes are very delicious.
