It took them 14 minutes to get me a Cappuccino that was more like a latte. However, if you order online, and pickup, I can see that’s where the business is really focused. At least 6 people walked in and walked out with their orders before the 6 of us waiting around for our orders were served. The people working there were really nice, though. You could tell they were happy to be there.

Very nice and friendly staff. I always stop by here for coffee whenever I am in Orinda. UPDATE: The new trainee sucks with people skills. Guess he should start with entry level of duties before he deals with longtime loyal customers. Negative experience like thus is why I am glad there is a Starbucks else where. Guess I need to drive a little more to Starbucks.

If you want great coffee, this is the place. Less busy than the Starbucks down the block. Peets always has decaf brewed or can have it ready in minutes. Asking for decaf at the other mentioned establishment often requires a very long wait.

So, it is Peet’s nothing bad there but I went outside to see Peets trash everywhere, the public garbage cans piled high overflowing onto the street, crime in the AM lock your stuff up and out of sight
