Interesting blend of Mexican and Greek cuisine, but not bad. Greatly enjoyed the tzatziki as part of the Grecian Alternative breakfast (pictured). Will be back to try their dinner menu! Priced appropriately for the quality/amount of food.

Food was delicious! Great atmosphere! Horrible service. Our waiter left a lot to be desired. It took him 10 minutes to even acknowledge us or take our drink order. Brought only part of our drinks (missing a water) we asked him for the water twice. Finally when our appetizer came we asked that guy (not our server) for our water and utensils. Our server finally brought out a water but noticed he was too late and said “oh cool you got it” and didn’t even leave it as an extra. We asked for appetizer plates and that took forever. When our entrees came we asked our waiter for some ketchup. He brought us 2 empty bottles 5 minutes later….two empty bottles don’t make a full bottle. Finally brought a new bottle of ketchup when we were done eating. I understand good help is hard to find however, I’d much rather deal with a restaurant that is short staffed then deal with a restaurant with horrible servers.

We planned to meet family for breakfast this past Sunday and picked Pegasus based on a friend’s recommendation. We called ahead and were placed on the reservation list as we were a party of 8 (they will reserve tables of 8 or more). We arrived at the time we reserved for, 9:00 am and were seated by 9:05 am after confirming our name on the list with the hostess. Our waiter was kind and responsive to our needs, but our food came out in waves making it difficult to eat as a family. In fact, one dish was completely forgotten about and arrived much after everyone else had started on their meals. We finished eating, paid the bill immediately upon being presented with the check and were allowing our children to use the restroom before leaving. However, no sooner did our credit card get run, the manager comes over and asks us if we would be leaving. It was incredibly rude and unnecessary as it was clear we were helping our kids and filling up our to-go box. Despite our shocked looks at the audacity of the manager asking us to leave after only 1 hour at the table (keep in mind it took nearly 30 mins just to get all our food), she continued in and told us how the particular table we were at was for reservations. She completely ignored the fact that we HAD a reservation. She was more worried about turning a table than providing a positive experience for customers. We didn’t receive an apology and were made to feel like a major inconvenience. Such a disappointing experience.

Food was okay, but specifically asked for crispy bacon and it wasn’t cooked through. I am a business woman who eats out constantly. At most restaurants, if you ask to swap something out and it is approved, the wait staff tells you there will be an extra charge and then the customer can choose whether or not they want to do the swap. My waitress was very sweet but did not inform me that I would be charged extra for swapping. I brought this to the manager’s attention and she should have taken it off of the bill since it was her waitresses fault that she did not tell me. Instead, this rude manager practically picked a fight with me over this below average fruit cup (90% green melon). Charging people for things that you have not been upfront about is borderline fraud. Many better restaurants in Castle Rock. Suggest you go there instead.

I never write reviews but felt compelled to share what a wonderful experience I had at Pegasus. My boyfriend and I recently moved to Denver from Ireland. Our friend recommended we stop by Pegasus for breakfast and then checkout Castlewood Canyon for a mellow hike. It was a busy and beautiful Sunday morning but we were seated on the dog friendly patio within 15 minutes. After we were seated, we were greeted by the owner John who was an absolute joy. It’s very rare that you meet someone that genuinely loves what they do and the community they live in. John’s friendly and charismatic energy was such a delight. He recommend chilladas and boy was he right! They were absolutely delicious. John, if you’re reading this – thank you for your hospitality! We loved the food, vibe, energy and beautiful patio. We’ll be back soon. Highly recommend stopping here to fuel up before a hike and enjoy the lovely shaded patio.

Slowwwww. If you have all afternoon to waste waiting for a table and want slow/poor service, this is the place to go. We waited for 40 minutes to get a table, on a Sunday, we expected this. However upon sitting, it took at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged, followed by 10 more minutes to even get waters or any kind of drinks ordered. The waitress lacked personality, didn’t pre bus anything or refill drinks.

Went for brunch and had a great meal. Wait was a bit long (45min) but we were told that’s not the norm. Very busy but service was on top of things mostly. Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but was a solid meal and I’d go back again.

I have visited at least once every month for the past year. I have yet to have a bad experience. Plan on a 0 to 30min wait to be seated but I highly recommend this place. In particular for weekend brunch.
