Looks like a good place and probably much better as a later night affair rather than the breakfast I had. Had chicken fried steak, and the gravy was bland like glue. Salted it up as I was heading out of that town and needed to eat and got it down. My wife had a similar story for her meal. There was one person working the kitchen and one server, but he didn’t give us spoons or forks right away, and getting his attention was a very extreme test of patients, so after the long wait to get food we then had to wait for forks. We sat after we finished for about 20 min before we were able to ask and receive a check, and there was another family sitting near us who had the same story going on. So maybe just a bad staffed day and got the worst version of this place. Good atmosphere and it looks like it’s more favorable as a bar/ grill later.

Food was delicious. The atmosphere is nice. Service was slow. I went with my wife on Cinco de Mayo and we were the only people eating at the table area… when we went. The worker was focused on the people sitting at the bar. May 5, 2023 Friday. Between 4 pm-5 pm.

Good decor and ambiance! My server was really nice and helpful. I got the Mushroom Swiss burger which came with a side of fries. With tip, the total bill came out to $13.78. The burger was adequate but certainly nothing exceptional. Notably, I did not like the fries at all though. ☹️ There is an option to substitute a side salad; I would definitely recommend that if you visit this restaurant!

Their food is amazing, ambience is great too. You can watch games and spend good time with your friends. Their $3 happy hours is amazing for post work de-stress. I tried Lasagna with garlic bread, prolly the best I have ever eaten.

Used to frequent the downtown San José location for years. Stumbled upon this location in Sunnyvale. We ordered the Hollywood burger with chili cheese fries, my little chick-a-dee sandwich with curly fries and a mint chip milkshake. The curly fries were super crispy and the stand out item!

Great food, great service, clean ambience, affordable. The malted shake was bomb. The Swiss Mushroom Burger was also bomb. Can’t ask for more. Curly fries and sweet potato fries were solid. Will be back.

Right off the bat the general look of the restaurant felt right at home. The food was pretty good for the price and they offered great service. The lady who brought our food accidentally dropped some of our french fries and generously prepared a small basket of more fries free of charge. They seem understaffed so service might be a little slow. Would go there again!
