A trip to Heber Springs just isn’t complete without breakfast at Peggy Sue’s Place. Nothing fancy — just great food. Today, we enjoyed the Half Skillet with biscuits and gravy and the Meat Lover’s Omelet. Both were delicious and satisfying. Everyone knows how great the food is and weekends you can expect a wait, but it’s worth it!

We had a great breakfast. It was our 1st time there. I had their French toast and hash browns. My partner had fried eggs, hash browns & bacon. All in all a nice breakfast. Parking was easy.

The food was delish…I cant say enough about the Western Omelet. The blueberry pancakes were also amazing. The service was over the top! Yes you have your waitress but every lady that walked passed us ask us if we needed anything, if everything was ok…We even got to meet Miss Peggy herself! What a fantastic lady. She complemented me on how beautiful my color was…. if she only knew how I felt about embracing my grey….she totally made my day.

Food is great, service isn’t the best unless ur well knew there. We had hair in mashed potatoes dmserver who was new took sons plate and just put new potatoes on the same plate, after telling us it was his hair bc they don’t have anyone cooking with white hair, well a 14 year old doesn’t either. Never got refills had to ask another server after we sit over 30 minutes for refills. Price isn’t too bad on lunch and dinner breakfast is kinda high bit I get everything has gone up so completely understand. How ever I do not liking taking my family out to eat and have to sit with strangers bc its small and all tables are might for large groups, Maynor bother others but it did me.

Burger was good, but the bacon tasted like melted plastic. They need a better ranch dressing recipe. The ranch I was served was lacking. I used ketchup instead, and I don’t even eat ketchup. Husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak but said it wasn’t the best one he’s ever had. Place was packed, table was dirty when we sat down but was cleaned quickly. Gravel parking lot was congested. Service was good even though it was shift change.

Peggy Sue’s is always a pleasure to visit. Food is pretty good and is reminiscent of your southern grandma’s kitchen, and so is the atmosphere. Staff are always attentive and friendly.

Went there on a Saturday afternoon around 11:30. The place then wasn’t too busy, but was steady with people. The place is small and hidden from the main road, but quite quant. We didn’t have to wait for a table and the waitress was really great. I got a bacon cheese burger (not frozen patty) and fries. The food was really good. Overall, a really nice place to try out.❤️

Literally everything we had as a party of four was awesome. It was like eating at your grandmas, well if your grandma was great at cooking. Everything was super fresh and tasty. It is the true example of the best kind of classic Southern American Diners. For our family it was the highlight of our Heber Springs adventure. Too bad we live so far away or we’d frequent this place consistently.
