Ate here for the first time today and I’m sure glad I did! Definitely a small town diner feel. The food (pictured is the Country Fried Steak) was excellent. The portions were huge as well. The servers were very energetic and super friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I stopped by Countryside cafe after a morning of picking raspberries with my friend and her two kids! Peg’s is exactly the kind of place I love to eat! It’s small and homey with pictures on the wall of some of the people they have served over the years as well as a plethora of chicken “stuff.” They are only open for breakfast and lunch and they have a lot of options for both! I had the Hamel burger with fries! The others with me opted for breakfast with kids having pancakes, eggs and bacon off the children’s menu and my friend having a skillet breakfast! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they ordered! We even had to get another pancake for one of the girls! We arrived at 11:30ish and I was pretty busy and it got even more busy as the clock neared noon! The waitresses were really hussling to keep up! I would definitely go back again!

Wonderful homey establishment and a pillar of the community. Affordable prices with a wide selection of American cooking, Peg’s offers all the wants and needs for the whole family. The staff is kind and witty and the decor is kitschy and has photos from all types of community members. The dining area small, but you’ll feel right at home. Food wasn’t too bad either. Fabulous place! We got there just as they were about to open. We were third in line. Then the people started flying in the door!! It was then packed to the top!! This place is popular and it should be! The food is excellent! I had Eggs Benedict with hash browns and coffee. The Eggs Benedict was suppose to have a basted egg, but I wanted a poached egg and they had no problem substituting it out for me and it was cooked to perfection. My partner had the German Breakfast and it consisted of a large bratwurst patty covered in sauerkraut, with eggs, hash browns and marble rye bread. This was a breakfast for Queen and her King!! Stop in, you won’t be disappointed!!

My husband and I are from out of state. We moved here and for 2 years had not found a place we would LOVE to return to. Then we founds this gem. The waitstaff and the food are unbeatable. I am tbh kinda picky so it’s hard to impress me. This place is now going to be my go to when I want a great breakfast. Might have to try lunch sometime as well.

Ordered breakfast… Breakfast potatoes had some kind of spice to it… Didn’t care for the spice.Schnitzel was wonderful as was my over medium eggs. Eggs were done perfectly. Been coming here since the 70’s.

Nice cozy atmosphere that reminds you of your grandparents house. There are pics everywhere of precious customers and throwback Knickknacks. The food was a nice homey/ good old fashioned American breakfast. Great flavors and seasonings, with nice portion sizes and even more reasonable prices. Our waitress Stephanie was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. She suggested menu items that turned out to be excellent suggestions.. we will definitely be repeat customers.

I have been wanting to try Peg’s for awhile after driving past multiple times and hearing so many good things. It’s classic comfort diner food. I was in and out in 30 minutes for lunch. I definitely recommed checking them out! I am looking forward to bringing the family for breakfast or brunch some time!

Oh good god… you won’t be disappointed if you traveled far to eat here. In fact, it will now be your excuse to travel always. Just look at the pictures of our food! Fresh, fast, and delicious! Yes, I was excited the entire time I savored every bite. I think next time I’ll pick the burrito up rather than eat it with knife and fork. 🙂 My wife’s meal was equally delicious. We love breakfast in our home… I hope they don’t mind us moving in! The decor was pretty cool. Love the atmosphere and the people are super friendly! They have stories… ask questions, they’re so awesome to befriended. This concluded our gastronomical journey for the day, and WILL be a repeat destination!!! ♥️
