The quality of food here is much lower than it used to be and honestly much lower than almost any other restaurant in the area inclusing McDonalds. Pei Wei used to be near PF Chang’s quality entrees on an affordable menu. Not any more. Honestly, if you’re looking for affordable Chinese food, I prefer Panda Express by a wide margin. The atmosphere at Pei Wei is pretty good, but the food is just so bad I can’t recommend it. Every time I eat here I remember why I waited so long to come back.

Great Chinese establishment! The manager was so kind and conscientious of us. He apologized that our food didn’t come out together (I waited an extra few minutes for mine) and gave us free lettuce wrap cards. To be honest, I didn’t even notice our food came out at different times. I appreciated that he was watching over his store and the experiences the guests have there. Also the food is delicious!

I usually love this place, and it’s definitely my go-to when I’m craving chicken and fried rice, but last time I went I had a horrible experience. I called ahead to place an order because I had to pick someone up from the airport, so I needed it ready ahead of time for them. I got there in 20 minutes (just like they told me) and when I went to the pickup desk and gave my name they said my order didn’t exist. So even though I called and was assured it’d be ready, nothing was taken down, and the food wasn’t even made. I was in a hurry to pickup my brother so I said forget about it, and what must have been a supervisor or manager told me they could have one out in two minutes for me. I said fine and they charged me FULL PRICE even though they failed to take down my order and I had to wait. After all that, it still took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready, not the promised 2. As always the food tasted great, but I was late to pickup my brother and left feeling really disappointed. What’s the point of calling ahead if the food isn’t even ready when you get there? I have also tried calling the restaurant several times after that to speak to a manager but haven’t gotten through to anyone. Like I said, I love Pei Wei and I’m not normally one to complain but this was not a good experience 🙁

Really enjoyed the Thai dynamite noodle bowl. If everything tasted as good as that, I would rate this place 5 stars. Service is so-so. Definitely not amazing but it was fine. They have really good lettuce wraps as well. All in all, it’s quite good for the price.

We just returned from Pei Wei on a Friday night and it was a terrible experience! The line was out the door with only one person taking orders. Customers were waiting by tables to be cleared and cleaned. Food and trash were all over the floor. Our food was delivered in pieces easily 5 minutes between eachother. One of our orders was fried rice with steak. The steak came out raw. Not rare, RAW! We mentioned this to the manager and she only suggested to heat it up. The environment and lack of food quality made us lose our appetites. Lastly, I visited the restrooms and it looked like a tornado hit. I normally do not even write reviews but I was so disgusted I will not return.

This wasn’t a great experience. Our food was cold. It wasn’t busy when we arrived yet it seemed to take quite a while for the kitchen to turn out our orders. The drink machine wasn’t working for half our visit, in addition to being out of vanilla flavoring after they got it running again. Used to be run much smoother. Staff could have been more friendly, or informative.

Ordered and sat down by 8:40, they close at nine. I got up to get my drink and the lemons were put away along with all the sauce. The water machine was being cleaned out and unusable. We spent 32.00 dollars on two entrees and an app but couldn’t get a drink because the people working wanted to get home early. If you come into a restaurant and spend money on food you should get the same service and amenities, regardless of the time. Food came out, rice was old and hard. My husband steak was old or just completely over cooked. Each time we have came here something has been off with the serivice, like waiting for tables to be cleaned to be able to sit down or the waiters being rude. We won’t be back again. What a shame.

I was very disappointed, go get a frozen dinner it will be cheaper and taste the same. My son got orange chicken it was frozen chicken with orange sauce on the side in a cup. My sisters food was mush, and her husband’s was mush, the service sucked! It took hours to try and pay to get out of there.
