Got “to go” Drunken Noodles. When I opened it only 5 miles from store noodles were dry and tasteless. Only thing given to perk them up was soya sauce – I don’t use soya sauce since I became an adult. Well, those noodles were so boring and disappointing I opened that fancy little packet and found more boring.

Pei Wei is pretty much consistent, freshly made and always delicious. I ordered the Thai Basil Cashew Chicken but the savor knob was set to neutral, as this dish needed to turn up the “Thai” flavor – no basil was detected, and the brown rice was a bit undercooked. Overall, we did enjoy the dishes.

I got in line to purchase a meal I was going to get several items. I asked the girl could I sample one of them. She said sorry we cant give out samples. There were several used toothpicks sitting in a tray so it was clear she was lying. I think she profiled me and assumed by how I look I was just trying to get something for free. I walked away and ended up spending my money at Cajun Grill instead. I wont be eating here.

The place was fine to sit in. The food was below average. Rice was very poor and dry on both dishes. We ordered the firecracker chicken which had barely any sauce and was incredibly dry along side the teriyaki chicken which was very salty and under flavoured. Price point was fine but rather disappointed. Would not recommend and won’t be going back.

Two weeks ago, it was my first time going here and I would say that the place is pretty decent given the recent hikes in food prices at restaurants. I had the Mongolian beef with fried rice base which was pretty decent. My wife had the General Tso Chicken with plain rice which was good too. Would recommend this place for a decent meal.
