Love Pei Wei. Wish they had SC locations! But, they don’t and we drive to NC. You can basically get any sauce/meal with any protein – chicken or shrimp or tofu…steak might be an option (can’t remember). We usually get orange shrimp and mongolian shrimp – with Lo mein noodles. This is a faster and cheaper version of another well-known more expensive sit down Chinese restaurant with a giant horse outside of it. At Pei Wei, you order and then grab your own beverage, cutlery, sauces like soy or sweet chili sauce, fortune cookie, napkins and your booth/table. They’ll bring your food order out to you when it’s ready ~5-10 mins after placing and paying for your order.

Matt the manager is extremely rude & unprofessional. He hung up on me while speaking of concerns MULTIPLE times. I have been going to this location since I was a child, I am now in my 20s. There is NO excuse for him to be so mean and hang up on both my mother and I. I would understand if we were being rude but we were nothing but kind. If he needed to talk to us later on, he could have been professional and let us know that he is busy & to call later. I am absolutely flabbergasted by this. Matt if you are reading this, you should not be in a position of management & talk to customers like that. As someone who has previously worked in a restaurant, I would have been fired for speaking to anyone like that, especially a customer. Very disappointed. Sad to not be able to go to this restaurant anymore. All other workers are wonderful! This review is not for them, it is for Matt.

We called to place an order. When we got there turns out that the orders wasn’t even placed. The girl was on the phone and she didn’t even bother to acknowledge the person, so rude! When I called to ask what happened she put on hold for over 5 minutes and then she totally forgot that I was in the phone I had to called back. She lied to face saying that they were slammed when the restaurant was empty and just a few people were waiting on to go orders. Definitely the lady in duty during the day could give a few tips on how to treat the customers to this young lady.

Vital Abyss
Service was bad and food wasn’t great either. Green onions were of changed color from age and probably should have been tossed and the lime garnish was almost completely yellow. It was extremely spicy with not much else to be said in terms of flavor (incredibly bland aside from the spiciness). I am giving it a 2 star simply because the food was piping hot even if the taste of the food and service wasn’t good.

This location does its absolute best to make sure their customers get a quality meal and are attended to! You can tell how much the cooks care about putting out good product, and every front-of-house employee is considerate and kind, even in high stress situations! A special shout-out to Emily, who quickly recognized us by our regular order and makes a point of making us feel welcome every time we come in! The food is also genuinely good, with one of the best Orange Chicken sauces I’ve ever had! I highly recommend giving them your patience — they care and they work hard and jt shows!

Good place. Our food was pretty good. Tried the Poke dish and it was AMAZING. Loved every bite, it’s basically like a deconstructed roll and by far the best thing I’ve had from Pei Wei. Kids loved their chicken Lo Mein. Only thing I didn’t like was that the tables felt a little “sticky” but no complaints on the food.
