Really excellent food – crisp, just the right blend of spices. loved it! Also, windows along the front and one side make the place bright – and the ac keeps the place cool! I’ve eaten at other Pei Wei restaurants and this has, by far, the best cooked food. It’s also a good price for a large serving. (I had Kung Pao chicken which had just a slight taste of heat. Perfect for my tastes. I also had a chicken egg roll which was loaded w chicken. )

Last time I ate Pei Wei was when I lived in Pasadena Tx. 2 yrs ago. My favorite was tofu & veggie Pad Thai. I can’t believe the difference. Not sure if it’s a franchisee choice or across the board but it’s different, in a bad way. The “crispy” breaded tofu was just tasteless mush. Nothing crispy about it! The whole meal was bland. What a shame. Never again.

Well it has been a few years since I have been to Pei Wei and I think this will be the last.. Portion size does not equal cost of food (14+ with drink). I know times have changed but this is ridiculous. I wish I had something next to this little plate that would show just how little amount of food there is here. Pei Wei used to give so much more. Even the friend that was with me was surprised at what little I received compared to his dish. I had to go get plasticware and swing by the restroom to wash my hands. The friend that was with me mentioned it to an employee that I was not happy with my portion.. She said that this was the portion size and there was nothing they could do. As far as the staff goes there were no problems with them. They were very nice and one member from the staff did mention that they have received complaints from other people about the portion size.

I used to visit Pei Wei’s in the past, it has really gone down. This restaurant cooked my food in less than 4 minutes, came to me with a taste like out of a can. I had the Dan Dan noodles. They gave me a bowl of noodles with a glob of some kind of pasty brown sauce with ground chicken mixed in. I was definitely expecting more, possibly chunks of chicken, and sauce to be a little thinner and more tasty. That was it. I sent it back. Asked for another dish with shrimp, pea pods and carrots. The pea pods tasted like cardboard… hard and undercooked, the brown rice was undercooked. Everything was horrible at this place! Save your money!

Very unhappy. Rude, accommodating woman working register and floor. Argumentative with us and employees! No regular tea, only flavored, which we dislike. My friend got soda. Both flavors tasted like diet. Her food looked like slop and didnt taste much better. Soda area is gross. Floor very sticky. Filthy restroom. Leaving to find a clean one. Tables not wiped down. Never returning. Haha! They emailed me a $10 gift card that I have to print. Who prints coupons? Not me. It only covered one meal, no drink. Pitiful.
