So so so filthy. The floors audibly squeaked as you walked around them because the floor was that sticky. Same for chairs and tables. Dingy and dirty. We were THEE only customers in there so they def had time to (at minimum) wipe down tables and chairs. We hadn’t been there in a while. Went in to give it another chance. Confirmed- yep, it’s still dirty and still gross.

I frequent the Pei Wei locations at Casa Paloma, as well as Guadalupe and McClintock in Tempe. This location does not even compare at all. The cashier seemed confused as we pointed to the menu items and said them by name. She still got the order wrong. We ordered Kung Poa Chicken, we got shrimp (and most of the peanuts were burned). We ordered the Thai Curry and paid extra for fried rice. We got white rice. We called the restaurant and got an, “Oh, sorry.” I guess we will stick to the other locations from now on.

Ordering the family platter is confusing, because there are certain items you’re not allowed to put on it. These items need to be marked on the menuboard with a special symbol such as a platter with a CircleSlash over it because my uncle wanted hot and spicy shrimp but it wasn’t allowed and my cousin wanted lo-mein but it wasn’t allowed either. They could really update the board to make this system work easier for the customers.

Hi Pei Wei. I don’t need to give a review as I have experienced most of what the others who have given reviews recently experienced… which is poor service and overly salty and less than mediocre food quality.

The first thing I noticed right as I walked in was that the restaurant was very clean. The gentleman that took my order was cheerful, smiling, and looked genuinely happy. I ordered the firecracker chicken with fried rice. They said it usually comes with white or brown rice but I didn’t mind paying a little extra to get fried rice.

Pei Wei has always been the place to go when you want fresh, made to eat Asian food. On this particular day we walked in around 3:00 pm and the first thing we noticed was the foul smell of an old mop bucket or dirty drains. I know this smell well working in the restaurant business for years. It’s just not what you want to smell when walking in when you’re starving. Service was great, we were greeted immediately by the gentleman hosting and what appears to be the manager. We were the only guest in the dining room so food was done quickly. I ordered the firecracker chicken but unfortunately the chicken was mostly breading and had a distinct taste of older fryer oil. My wife and daughter also had issues with their food. With the dining room completely empty, I hoped for better. However, it’s not completely a deal breaker. The service and hospitality made up for it but hopefully next time it’s better.

We used to love this place they have gone majorly downhill. It always feels dirty inside and the tables are always sticky and gross looking. Also the food the last 5 times we have been has been terrible the quality has gone majorly downhill. The other locations are way better. Not sure what happened but super bummed out as this used to be our favorite place.

I am giving negative review base on the menu change. The dishes now have less vegetables. The tofu too breading and when u eat it to go, it’s not crunchy. Definitely not as healthy as it used to be. No carrots, Broccoli, peas and so little peppers. The portion is really small, like half what it used to be.
