The restaurant offers a great mix of meals from mild to wild. Our family absolutely loves the eggplant in garlic sauce, a dish no other Chinese cuisine restaurants in the area offers. The staff are cordial and willing to interpret all the offerings. The atmosphere offers a simple elegance that makes it feel like a “step up”. All in all, great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere make this one of our favorite places!

So, the sushi and actual chinese takeout food is delicious. Genuinely some of the best around. However, their hibachi was quite bad. As well, the soda, like the plain pepsi fountain soda, had this horrible taste that I can’t say I’ve ever experienced before. They’re really amazing for sushi and chinese takeout, just avoid eating in or getting hibachi.

I’ve ordered from Peking Garden many times in the past and have always had good food. Not today. Apparently the restaurant was sold, but the name will stay the same. I typically get the same thing: sesame chicken and fried rice. This time the chicken was very dry, very little sauce and the fried rice had no real taste – it was bland. The vegetables in the rice were huge, that you got more large pieces of vegetables as opposed to rice. I don’t think I’ll be going back, now that I know it’s new owners.
