Not sure how I feel about this place yet. Some of the food was good like the lo mein and the Hunan Chicken that I didn’t order. I ordered the Beef, I’m sure the phone call that came in during my order may have distracted the nice lady doing several things at once. I was not feeling the fried rice, just didn’t taste good to me. (And that’s disappointing because I live the stuff!) The place could also use a good cleaning in more ways than one.

Last night my husband and I ordered from Peking place. It’s been awhile but that was always our favorite Chinese place in westmont. Sorry to say but it was terrible. Did new owners take over or something? I got the hot and spicy beef and my husband got general too. First of all the meals weren’t hot, I don’t know if they were done and sitting before the time we were told to pick up. My beef dish had no flavor and it usually has a little kick to it. The general tso’s was dry and even the chicken rice soup had more cabbage than anything. So disappointing. Hopefully they realize what a great place this use to be and step it up! I don’t know if we’ll give it another try or not.

I can’t ever eat from here anymore after the new owners took it, I just get sick from their food anytime I order, I decided to maybe give it another shot cause maybe something changed but nope, stuck between my bed and the bathroom with food poisoning.

I have tried several times to give this place a shot the past 3 years since new owners have taken over and it just isn’t good anymore. It’s a shame, the consistency was what kept me coming back in previous years but I avoid this place and go all the way from westmont to windber for Chinese takeout

Worst Chinese food I ever had. The general tso’s chicken was soaked and soggy with a very sweet and lack of spicy sauce. The pepper steak did not have a good taste and not much steak at all. Egg rolls were absolutely horrible. The Hunan shrimp was ok.

This is a tiny little Chinese restaurant. There is only one booth at present. They are still set up with Covid protections barriers and similar protections. This is fine for me as I hardly ever ate inside this restaurant, before or after COVID. I love their Food! They have great chicken fried rice, General TSOs chicken, and a very good Dragon and the Phoenix. This is a family run business. This restaurant is worth checking out if you want Chinese Takeout! Thank you for such wonderful food every time I visit!

I often got take out here. Used to. They forget to put the egg rolls in every single time and when I call them back, they can’t deliver and they offer me a credit that I never receive because they seem to have forgotten about it the next time I order. One time I received someone else’s order. Really rude owners and staff. My advice is don’t order from here and if you do, make them open every bag and container and check it in front of you and then make them repackage it.
