Excellent service and food. Hunan or Sichuan style of Chinese food with appeal to American tastes. Restaurant has been in Stockton since 1979, so I’ve passed by it thousands of times without ever noticing it until 2022. The clientele is overwhelmingly non-Asian. We liked the Peking Family Style for 3 people and the Mandarin Family Style was delicious as well. Sizzling Rice Soup is amazing and I’ve only encountered this dish at this place. The Peking Ravioli are handmade. Good value for the prices.

Michelle is a wonderful waitress. She is very sweet and remembers you from your previous visits. Thank you, Michelle, for your awesome service. The food is delicious well worth the price. I will continue to be a PeKing customer for years to come.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. We’ve been going to Peking since before my daughter was born and the staff there have watched her grow. She’s 20 now and the waitress still remembers us and our order! That says something for sure!!

The foods are ok, the price is average, the server is nice. The lunch combo portion is a lot. They charge hot tea for $2.00

I have been coming here for 20 years. Funny thing is the best chineese restaurants are ALL INDIVDUALLY owned however, they r from the same family. (Yen du, tsing tao, the one in the lincoln center, and peking). So altho they have some same dishes, they honestly are all a little different. All are exceptional. If u want the good BBQpork items (chow mein.. rice) you go to peking… if you only do white meat pork…and no bbq pork, you do yen du… who has a house beef dish that the others dont have. The fact is… all are clean restaurants. All are super nice people, and all have good food. Mongolian at peking is served on crunchy noodles, where at the others, its on shredded cabbage. But all yummy, made fresh to order and highly Recommended. If you want exceptional chineese…. eat at peking or any of the other ones in the family. You will not b disappointed!!!
