Getting to Pelicana was not the easiest since you will have to go around the building marked K-pop Center to find parking. I had a short wait after getting to the restaurant since it was busy (approximately 10 minutes) around 7 PM. on a Wednesday. Even with these inconveniences, it was well worth it.

Just orders the half marinated and half normal fried chicken and tokkboki. Their Korean style fried chicken was quite good with nice and crispy texture. Marinated version was not too spicy and not too sweet. This is a good place to have a beer and chicken with your friends and family. It is located on the first floor of the Buena Park The Source Mall.

Absolutely delicious! The chicken was juicy, the price was decent for a half chicken that fills you up. The only reason why I set the price to $20-30 is because we got sides but you can easily fill up on <$20. We also got the tteobokki. Very chewy and the sauce was flavorful. We also got the French fries which were a perfect balance of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was great! All the workers were friendly and helpful. Once you get past the wait times, it’s smooth sailing from there. Sadly no appetizers. Oh well. I’m very satisfied with my experience and would definitely come back.

Pelicana has always been my go-to whenever I’m at the Source and I was so surprised and excited to find out that they started doing lunch specials! Their soy flavor is my favorite but their original is sooooooo good too. I haven’t had the time to try the lunch box yet but I’m excited to!

Got half chicken with signature sauce and shaken fries. The sauce was mildly spicy, pretty good. Crispy and juicy chicken. Coleslaw and fries were sweet. Definitely interesting flavor for the fries.

First time and very last time coming here. Very Rude customer service from male server with glasses. We sat outside planning to sit and dine. We purposely stayed outside because we had our dog with us. My wife went inside to order and they never asked us dine in or take out. Upon receiving our food, male server approached us and told us about their no dine in policy and told us to go to the 4th floor to eat our food. How would we know what their policy is since it’s our FIRST TIME trying this establishment? Terrible customer service and food was mediocre. Managers need to train their servers for professional customer service. No need to contact or respond. We will never come back to this location Again.
