The shrimp and fish tacos are really good, and are reminiscent of California. It’s the closest I’ve found to Baja style mariscos tacos in Virginia. So if you’re from CA and you’re missing that style of tacos this is the best option. I found the beans and rice too bland, and the salsa not spicy. Definitely room for major improvement, but other wise the tacos are good.

Cool place to visit. I came here on the day that the tacos were half priced or some type of deal where it was cheaper. It’s a small establishment and there wasn’t a lot of seating so we had to wait until a table became available to seat ourselves. The staff was very nice though! So the food was good but could’ve been a little better. I ordered the fish tacos because I love fish and the shrimp tacos. It was decent though for the price and it filled me up. I would come back to try other items! Overall, I would recommend you try this place out!

I go here a lot and never tried their tacos til today. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR TACOS. It has absolutely no flavor. I literally got through a half of taco and told the cashier I didn’t like them. I was told there was NOTHING they could do for me. Not even trade the tacos out for something better. I’m not usually not disappointed but those tacos really has me reconsidering going back. Also, being told it wasn’t anything they could do about the non flavor, bland tacos. The cashier was sweet, but the manager on the other hand completely rude.

I went to this restaurant at the Norfolk location for the first time. I liked that the service was quick and that there were a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. I liked all the margarita flavors and that they had a kids menu. I will say it seemed to be on the pricey side, and the food was good but not great. Salsa was super weird like tomato onion water but the tofu was perfectly cooked. The reason I gave it only three stars is one of the staff members was *so* rude it was almost laughable. The other one was sweet so it was a shame the girl with the eyebrows almost ruined my entire dinner. I mean the restaurant is worth a try, maybe she will be nicer to you.

This is my favorite location because of the beach access and because they just absolutely kill it in the best way with their tacos. I eat more food here than I should legally be allowed to order. My favorites being the carne asada tacos, fish tacos, and the sriracha corn. WITH FRIES and that special sauce of course. Margs and beer selection is top notch. They’re super relaxed and the food is so fulfilling and delicious. Priced right and their in house salsas/sauces are to die for. Pelons had my heart

The Future Is Cheap Now

Went to Pelons. Man was it tasty. I had the carne asada and chicken tacos. I had one of each and they were so good that I ordered two more at happy hour and got one for free. The second round I got a beer and am now stuffed but very content ☺️ There is a really cool rack of sauces of which I tried about 6 and they were unique and tasty. Definitely check this place out!

Went here for the first time tonight, was excited but that quickly faded. To say I wasn’t impressed was an understatement. It started with the person who took our order. We had to keep repeating our order like she couldn’t hear us or like she was high and was spaced out. I ordered the big Kahana with chicken with no cilantro and asked for a cup of water. She told me it was on the other side of the tea when, in fact, it was in the same canister as the tea. You have to hit the water button.
