Don’t let the store front fool you being so simple. This is just a great old school Italian restaurant. We tried the pizza, lasagna, garlic bread, and the kids had the kids spaghetti. They also had some pretty good adult beverage selections that go well with pizza. Overall, everyone was stuffed and pleasantly happy which is a challenge when you have tried so many Italian restaurants. Definitely recommend that you give them a try.

Ordered 1) a cheese pizza, thin crust. Average taste, not a lot of flavor to it. 2) deep dish bacon pizza. The bacon didn’t taste good in terms of quality, the crust and bottom of the pizza were rock hard and bland. There was no taste to the pizza and everything with dough tasted like cardboard. 3) a side salad, which came with literal plastic in it, probably from the salad bag they just opened up and poured into a bowl. That is the quality of the salad, in case you are wondering. Also because it actually probably did come from a bag. The waitress also was not very hospitable. Not a great experience.

In a desperate search for non-commercial pizza, we came across this gem. I would say it looks rather intimidating from the outside. But, go inside and you will find friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and a place where the locals frequent. Absolutely yummy!

If you can cook pasta and heat up Prego spaghetti sauce, you can make a better dish than this restaurant. No seasoning in the sauce; pasta was overcooked (likely cooked in advance and kept in water). Everything is jarred/canned and reheated. Not a stove in sight, only microwaves. The “green salad” is just chopped iceberg lettuce. One of the most disgusting, flavorless meals I have ever had the misfortune of eating. Just because local residents leave positive reviews doesn’t make it good. Avoid at all costs!

I’m mad that I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and this is only the second time I’ve had their deep dish pizza. It is great… Can feed up to 4 people and is loaded with toppings.

Normally I go during lunch but went for dinner and noticed a huge difference in the way the pizza was made. Toppings are more generous giving it more taste. Sweet tea is great as usual and the staff was super friendly and accommodating.
