This spot was a win on all accounts. Charming atmosphere that matches the beautiful landscape around it followed by delicious food and great service. I personally ordered the chicken cherry salad and it has to be one of the best salads I’ve had. It was refreshing, sweet and savory and delicious on all accounts. Perfectly cooked chicken, and the dried cherries were awesome on it! I’m coming back next year for another winery tour and going here again for sure!

We loved the food !! I had the cherry chicken salad and my husband had the lobster roll. Excellent and delicious!! Our waiter was very friendly and even took off half off the price of our empanada simply because we said it was a little on the doughy side (but still yummy). We didn’t even ask for him to do that. Very cool atmosphere as well

Had a late lunch with a friend here and had a great experience. She had the vegetarian pasta dish and I had the hanger steak with polenta, both were excellent if just a touch over-seasoned. Staff were friendly and attentive!

Peninsula Grill is always a stop for us when we’re at our lake house. Food is good and the lemon lavendar martini is a must! Our one and ONLY “compliant” if you will, is the chef took off the coconut curry mussels. These were absolutely to die for and I wish they would bring them back!!!

Shirley….had the exact same experience tonight. We were seated by a nice young man and then 15 minutes later we had not even been approached by any wait staff. Lots of them milling around but not one came by our table. After the second table that had come in after us was waited on, we left. Lots of other restaurants in TC that will take my money!

Great vibe, service and food! Parmesan Whitefish with asparagus and brown rice was outstanding. The Chicken cherry and pecan salad had large chunks of blue cheese and a poppy seed dressing that was not too sweet also delicious.

We have been here several times before and have always found the food delicious – which is why we look forward to coming back here to eat every time we are in the area. However, last night we were completely ignored by the wait staff. We were seated by a pleasant hostess with menus (the only reason for the 1 star) and over 20 minutes later, we were still sitting there with menus waiting for someone to say HI – we even made several attempts of fully waving our arms and calling to wait staff passing us by. No one even glanced over. It was like we weren’t even there. We saw people who were seated after us get water and have their orders taken but none of the wait staff would even look at our table in the corner. How do you not see arms flapping and voices yelling HEY?? We understand being understaffed and/or busy – which they have been before – and we don’t mind waiting – but at least acknowledge you know we are there. After all we did to get noticed during that 20 minutes, we doubted it would ever happen. So we left – feeling totally ignored and insignificant. Horrible experience at a place we used to love. We won’t be back. I’m sure the business will continue to thrive because everyone else was eventually getting served. But honestly, no matter how successful and busy your business is, no one should ever be ignored like that. It’s just rude.

Absolutely fantastic! I had the smash burger, and it was great! They put a special sauce on the burger that was bursting with flavor. Best meal I’ve had on this 3 day trip from Ohio. Skylar was our server, and she was very good. Must stop on your way to or back from mission point lighthouse.
