I always enjoy finding these hole in the wall places. I was not disappointed again today. They have amazing fresh cut fries, and the submarine bun I had reminded me of a pizzeria where I grew up. These ladies were so humble and attentive to my order and made the dining experience pleasant. I ordered the classic Italian, and I must say I enjoyed every bite. Thank you to you all.

The french fries were delicious. The staff was nice although we did have to ask for our table to be cleaned. Decent service and everything was made fresh which is good but I’m just not so sure that I would come back. I tried to alert the gentleman about the overflowing clogged soda dispenser and he brushed me off. I ordered the chicken teriyaki. It was lacking , had decent flavor, but very sparse. We also ordered the turkey avocado salad, which was super basic with bagged avocado. Nothing much in the flavor for the salad. When I order water usually like to let it flow for a little bit to get the water to come out and not its mixer -but I couldn’t do that because of the clogged dispenser-I didn’t want to flood the floor more so than it was. They did eventually come out to unclog it, but it was after we were finished.

I absolutely love the food at Penn Station subs. I regret to write this poor review. However, this is the second time I have come to this restaurant to find a handwritten paper sign of early closure. We arrived at 7:10 p.m. to a sign that said closing at 8:00 p.m.. The staff proceeded to lock the door before 7:30 p.m.. while we were eating. If the hours need to be shortened due to slow business, so be it. Get a new sign saying such so people are not surprised. Several families came to the door while we were eating inside. I hope ownership will read this.

Went here on August 18th 2023 and the people working was very rude. My wife and I stood there for about 10 mins waiting to order with no one in front of us. Workers didn’t even say or acknowledge us standing there. Someone should have said be with you a minute but nothing. Penn station you need to manage your people better. The food is good but your service sucks!!!

The employees here are wonderful, each and every one. The food is yummy, the fries are incredible, if you like fresh cut fries this is a great place to get them, the staff cooks the fries to order, so they are fresh. Of course the subs are incredible too, they use quality ingredients and as I said the employees really take care with every order. The have earned their great rating. BTW if you have not tried their FRESH squeezed lemonade you are missing out on a awesome treat!

One of my favorite sub joints! Delicious pizza sub, with fresh ingredients. The fries are so excellent, and the lemonade is a great refreshment with the salty fries.

I rarely eat at chain restaurants, but I do make an exception for this place. The food is just too good not to get once in a while.

Not being a huge sub fan, it took me a while before I gave in and tried this place. WOW. This place knocked my socks off. I got the grilled Italian sub and it was amazing! Fresh fries are a bonus, too…. But the subs are where it’s at! If you haven’t been here, go! You won’t be sorry!

This is a review of the food not the store. The store and service was perfectly fine. Clean and friendly. We had never been here before and came because subway was closed. The prices were higher, and we were sad to discover we got half the amount of food. The sandwiches, if you can call them that, are like 1 and 1/2 inches wide. It’s more like a roll. They seem to hide this by serving them open faced in store. The bread tastes fine though. I got the Regular BLT and it had a whopping 2 quarter slices of tomato. There was more Mayo than tomato and a tiny amount of lettuce. It basically tasted like a bacon Mayo sandwich. I don’t really like Mayo and only like it on a BLT to complement the tomato but the tomato was minuscule and bland. We got a lot of fries and the price seems fine on that. We expected 5 guy quality since they are made the same way. They are not. Has a funny aftertaste, not as crispy, and they did not salt them. So very bland. And now I have a giant pile of fries no one wants to eat. $72 dollar for a family of 5 seems pretty outrageous for what we got. $10 more got us diner at Red Robin with shakes and an appetizer. We will never be back.
