This was our first time trying the restaurant. We got a coupon so thought we would give it a try. The prices were kind of high in relation to the portions on the sandwich. We got a bit which only had 3 slices of bacon. The Italian sub was pretty good. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak. There was barely any meat on the sandwich to the point I could not even taste it. I was charged additional for Swiss cheese (that I did not order). I just wanted the provolone cheese that the menu states it came with. It was one small slice of cheese that was cut in half, so the sandwich was mostly bread. The fries were ok, but they were hot, which was a nice change of pace. I really feel what we ordered was not worth what we spent (over $35). Probably won’t return, which is so disappointing.

First time eating here, the food was good. I had the club which was pretty basic but still good. My daughter had the chicken Teriyaki wrap which she said was really good. The fries were ok. The music is really loud so it was a little difficult to hear/place the order. Overall it wasn’t bad.

First time at Penn Station in Cary — I had the steak and cheese w/ mushrooms/onions/peppers on multi-grain — very good! I like the banana peppers — nice touch! The fries were meh… I went to pull one out and a clump came out stuck to each other. When I pulled one apart, it was not quite cooked (see pic). I really didn’t need the fries anyway, the sub was substantial and filling. Also, it happened to be ‘cookie Tuesday’ where they were handing out free sample-size chocolate chip cookies – nice surprise and YUM! Staff was friendly, no long wait, it was clean and, what I really liked, was the layout of their restaurant. Arriving alone, it was nice to have ample 2-seater tables as well as a counter-height window table for seating options — a well-designed layout including outside tables with umbrellas. Give them a try — you’ll be glad you did!

The food was fine, but it was very overpriced. I ordered a large chicken parm and there was about an inch on each side of the sub with no toppings. Bread was great, so I’m a bit disappointed in the rest of the portion

This use to be one of my absolute favorite places. I use to eat here at least once a week. Unfortunately something has changed in the last few months. Quality has dropped massively no one cares or can be bothered. Your best bet is to go across the street to Jersey Mikes.

Today my Aunt & I had our first visit to a ‘Penn Station East Coast Subs” and just like it’s written on their wall IT’S ALL ABOUT GOOD TASTE! I had the Classic Italian with bacon and their fresh hand cut potato fries AND THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS! My aunt had a grilled veggie sub and a fresh baked cookie.

I got the cheesesteak because reviews were glowing. I thought it was alright—really liked the banana peppers tho. The fries were better than most chains! Will probs be back because it’s a good amount of volume for the price.

The guys working here are great, and the food is excellent. Just wish the owner of this location would keep more than 2 people on evening shifts. Every time I place an online order (6 or 7 times now), I wait 15 mins to go get it and then it’s another 10-15 minute wait when I get to the store. Too many customers for not enough workers.

I come there all the time. This time I asked for 10 ketchup and was told NO..they are cutting back. I also paid over $4.00 for a med fry and was given a small. The lady was plain rude.. it was night crew. You should of kept the lady that used to work there who was super friendly. Give me a number for management I would like a replacement Fry.

The first time I heard about this Penn Station was on a YouTube ad. I had to travel over an hour to come to this place. I enjoyed the Steak and cheese sub. I shared this place on Facebook and my cowboy boots is on the floor mat.
