It’s QUALITY over QUANTITY! Portion sizes are as MINIMAL as POSSIBLE ON MEAT! $47.00 for Dried out Fries and Three 9″ Subs! I RETURNED the FRIES that were COLD, DRIED OUT at $6.95 Snarky women working 5/19/23 at 8pm acting like they hate their jobs. The guy was professional at least.

Almost $18 dollars for this meal. I won’t be returning to Penn Station since they care more about money. This was an insult to subs out there. If I was you I would go to another sub shop and get more food for the same price you pay here

Stopped here for lunch because the location near my employer on (Chamberlain Lane) is having “issues”..but that’s another story in itself. A co worker suggested I go to this location off Blankenbaker and I’m glad I did. The sandwich was cooked and prepared perfectly. They also fixed my food really fast. I asked for pickles on the side, and realized I didn’t have them in my nag, but the young man with the long ponytail was more than helpful and accommodating. The gentleman with the ponytail was very pleasant and very well mannered, saying please and thank you to every customer, very personable and friendly. When you look for employees to work for you, these are the qualities that really stand out. Superior service.

Portions of ingredients on sandwiches was PATHETIC. I’m no first time customer, I’ve gone to penn station for years. They are skimping- HARD. Service was fast, fries were hot, sandwiches were worth about half of what we paid for them. Very disappointed…obviously.

This store has sadly gone downhill. Used to be a place we frequently regularly pre COVID but we won’t be back. Sky high prices, customer service awful ( employees sitting on boxes, not doing anything and had to wait for order despite place being empty) and food quality was bad. We paid 50 dollars for 3 subs and there was hardly anything on them.

Just got into Louisville and close to my hotel. Needed some food and searched for places near me. Penn Station subs came up. Small place and a menu to the point. Ordered a cheese steak and medium handcut fry. Got down to the end of the counter and the gal confirmed my order asked if I would like a fresh squeezed lemonade, fresh cookie or fountain drink. Paid and sat down. About 5 minutes and food out. They call your name as they bring it out to where you are sitting. Food was fresh and hot; even the fries. Fries were not greasy and lightly salted as I like them. My cheese steak was full of flavor, juicy and a mess to it, but hey it’s a cheese steak. Place was clean. Staff polite and friendly. Reminded me of a cross between Five Guys and Jersey Mike’s. Penn Station’s fries are similar to Five Guys but less greasy and thicker. Their hot cheese steak had more flavor and stayed warmer longer than what I have had at Jersey Mike’s. Give this place a try.

Purchased philly cheese steak on multi grain bun with order of fries carry out 1/18/23 6:30pm. When opened the bun was so dried out and hard I could not eat, the fries must have come from the left overs, small pieces and burnt. Terrible waste of money and too far to take back to store.

Two stars because the subs tasted fine. Would have zero stars for the most bizarre customer service experience. We walked in today in the middle of a Friday afternoon. The place had one customer eating at a table, and was otherwise empty. The lone employee behind the counter was sitting on a pile of boxes, texting or playing on her phone. She made absolutely ZERO effort to hide how annoyed she was that she had to get up to wait on us. The entire time she took our order, her tone of voice and demeanor just screamed how much we were inconveniencing her. When another (male) employee came to the register to ring us up, he had his airpods dangling out of his ears. And when I asked for the tomato to be removed from my sandwich, he put it right back in the tomato bin. In front of us! Suffice to say, we won’t be hitting this location our next time in the area. The team has a LOT to learn about customer interaction.
