This is my 4th time eating here the food was wonderful but the facility was dirty. I was the frist dine-in customer of the day. The tables, chairs, and floors in the dining area had not been clean from the day(s) before. The counter by the cashier and the soda fountain looked like it had not been cleaned or sanitized in weeks. I could see that the floor behind the counter was covered in food ( French fries) from the day(s) before. I have worked in food service for 40+ years and will not return due to the unsanitary conditions. If the customer area is not clean then most likely the rest of the kitchen is dirty as well. I know establishments are struggling with staffing, but there were 3 staff behind the counter, one working on orders, one on his cell phone, all 3 of them standing and talking during the time I was there. We always had a saying “if there’s time to lean, there’s time to clean”. Clean up your act!

The Penn Station in Danville is relatively new within the past couple of years. Staff are always so kind and helpful. The restaurant is clean. The food is outstanding. I recently ate a small pizza sub on whole grain bread and have included a picture of the sandwich, which was so good. The fries are always fresh and delicious as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

6:50 pm Nov 14. Liked it the first time but currently they don’t want to serve me anymore I guess so I won’t be coming back. Stood at the registers for 2 minutes and not even an acknowledgment by anybody even though there was a woman standing right in front of me cooking on the grill. I guess they forget there are places called Subway sandwich shops that are happy to take my order. Manager should be fired for allowing that. Picture proves I was there.

The fast service is impeccable… If you dine in, you’ll get the opportunity to witness the wonderful employees making the breads, fries, and fresh cutting the vegetables… The dining area has amazing smells and is very clean, with a comfortable temperature… The restrooms are also impeccably clean…
