Last night, around 9:45 pm, my husband and I went to Penn Station to grab food. Upon arriving, the two workers were mopping and cleaning because they closed at 10. I sat in the car while my husband went inside. I could see that he wasn’t greeted right away, but he patiently waited. Finally, the first guy took his order and began his sandwich. After a few minutes of observing from the car, I saw my husband’s expression change. I decided to go see what was happening. He was going back and forth with both workers because one of them put his UNGLOVED hands into the fries container, put them in the fry basket, and was proceeding to cook them. My husband said that it was unsanitary, and that’s when an argument ensued. We heard explanations that gloves were just “for show”, that grease cooks at 350 degrees so it kills gems, health code says blah, blah, blah. Nasty is what it was – period! The rude guy refused to serve us, and when we asked for his name, he refused. We snapped a picture of him, which is attached, right before he flipped us off. He didn’t care if we talked to the manager because he’s “known them for 9 years.” Hopefully, they learn better sanitary habits and better customer service skills!

Just ate here for the first time after a friend’s recommendation and I was seriously impressed! Customer service was too notch and the east coast style sub I got was really, really good. Definitely my new favorite sub place, even trumping my former favorite (Jersey Mike’s). The Lemonade was really good too, almost as good as Chick-fil-A’s! Really the only knock I have is the seating area inside is cramped and drab, but it serves its purpose.

Good subs clean location. The water machine from the soda fountain is diluted with the soda (pink lemonade) which alternates the taste of the water. I do not believe it’s a simple fix because it has been this way for months. I dislike the taste of the pink water but it may just be me.

A friend of mine introduced me to Penn station a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I’m upset I didn’t try it sooner! The Phili cheese steak is amazing! The fresh cut fries are good to. The staff was really nice and helpful. Definitely recommend trying Penn station.

Food was absolutely delicious. Few weeks ago, There were 2 younger guys that was goofing around when I walked in. I sat down and was eating and I seen one of the guys (red hoodie) held up a toilet brush and was waiving it in the air. He noticed I seen him doing that and was laughing hysterically with his co worker. Unfortunately, I will see Penn Station differently even though I love the food and menu. Maybe I have to try a different location and not sit near the restrooms.

Can’t say enough about how awesome this place is. I come in probably 1-2 times per month. The manager greets me every time by name, and the staff is phenomenal. I’m currently here waiting for my order, and I’ve watched the manager greet 2 other people by name who’ve walked in. He knows his customers! Great food and amazing staff!!!
