I had just finished up a busy morning and was famished. Found a Penn Station nearby and ordered the Classic Italian special. It was the best one I’ve ever had. Loaded up with all the veggies and meats. The cook outdid herself, and the fresh made lemonade topped it off.

This location is hit or miss! When it’s good, it’s GOOD but when it’s bad it’s definitely BAD. To the point even a remade sandwich is way off. I would assume it’s different crews who are ran differently based off the drastic difference, but who knows.

Normally I think of bread as just a filler and it isn’t something I would notice or care about. But the rolls here are amazingly good, I didn’t realize how much that could contribute to a sub before today. The cheesesteak was excellent, really flavorful and they are generous with the cheese. Tables are really clean for an eat-with-your-hands kind of place too, which I appreciated.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was polite and wonderful. I asked if they would cut the sandwiches in my order in half and they did! Most other Penn Stations forget to do that when I ask nicely for some strange reason. These were excellent.
