Sometimes you just need a cheesesteak in Penn station is the best in the business. I came in here in the middle of the afternoon and no one was around so service is great, fries were hot, the sandwich was incredible. They do the classic cheesesteak better than anyone I’ve ever encountered. Not only that, but as I was digging into my fries, sandwich, and fresh squeezed lemonade, one of the guys working there brought me out of fresh baked chocolate chip cookie on the house. That’s a good working lunch. I’m sure being on a college campus this place has spotty service times, but I had it on a Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock it was perfect.

Usually this is the best location in the city. But I’m afraid the staff is getting careless. Tonight I spent $40 on 2 sandwiches and one of them had someone’s beard hair in it so clearly that one went straight into the trash. Money wasted and still hungry so we Won’t be back until staff can work on their personal hygiene and cleanliness while cooking at work.
