I love Penn Station! I know you his location has had some issues in the recent pass personnel wise (my last visit was a couple years ago) as on that day? Nearly every customer had to come back to get their order fixed. Sadly the floor probably hasn’t been mopped in days as it was sticky walking on it and the interior can use an upgrade in equipment and appearance (the downtown store is worse). Lots of times employees seem to be wearing a dirty I inform for which is easily rectifiable by giving them more than one or two since they work multiple days — and/or provide laundry service. Managers, even the janky traveling general Managers, look like bums. Corporate and franchise owners should set/enforce guidelines for how your human assets should look while dealing with the public as they too often look, dirty. The public is often brutal to the workers as it seems I am with this review, but it helps when you know what you are dealing with. Overall? The food was good as the sandwich was made freshly, bread baked well, and fries were cooked OK. Overall rating for this after COVID visit? A grudging 3 stars (2) due to a lack of store cleanliness and employee appearance.

This location is fine, I love Penn Station and their sandwiches. My only complaint is about 5% of the time when I order a grilled club I get an Italian sub instead and since I’m allergic to banana peppers I can’t eat the sub at all. That’s honestly my only complaint.

Zero regard for health and safety during a global pandemic. One employee handling food wore his mask on his chin with nose and mouth fully exposed, and couldn’t even properly wrap a sandwich. My online order wasn’t ready when I arrived at suggested time of 30 minutes later. After waiting almost 10 minutes for fries to be ready, I had seen enough and asked for a refund. Never again…

This is the PS in North College Hill on Hamilton Avenue. Go to the one in Fairfield if you want great service! Steer clear of this one. Asked for a small Rueban and a medium fry. Waited 20 minutes. For some reason, the cook decided I wasn’t there. Never called my name. Cashier asked if “Tray” was there. I get my sandwich and asked if the fries were fresh. Cashier said they had just been made. They were warm. I asked for hot fries. Cashier dropped handful in fryer and filled fry cup with half cold/half hot fries, that along with an attitude. These people do not know how to treat customers, and they are very stingy with the meat. Will not be back.

There sandwiches are horrible. At least the two’s sandwiches I had a Philly cheese steak and the pizza. With the Philly cheese steaks sandwich, you don’t even taste the sandwich you taste of grease. as if they don’t even clean the grill. The other sandwich was dry. It’s the worst Penn station I’ve been.

The Manager (handsome black guy) that runs this place has truly turned this place back to what good customer service is! I’m so impressed by his professionalism and work ethic.His staff is ready to work, well groomed, works well w each other. This location in the past was getting atrocious w their staff poor customer service. The young black man who took my order was well mannered, well groomed, patient and friendly, he is a pleasure. The Cook (tall, dark and handsome)was all that and kept up w the orders very well. Steak sandwiches were so good! Thanks everyone who worked that Saturday! Keep up the great work

For the 2nd time in a row they’ve messed up my order. I get my sandwich with no cheese and each time there’s a ton of cheese!! This time I go back in and show this kid and he just takes the sandwich shoes the sandwich maker the receipt and he always has an attitude i don’t know who with but it’s very unprofessional. I asked for replacement fries but the kid said no i had to pay for new ones!! The only professional one on that staff is the young black woman. She’s always on it and very apologetic when things are wrong.

The fry oil needed to be changed. It was super dark. My sandwich was made very sloppy and they tried to give me old fries when I asked for fresh. And the floors and tables were dirty.
