So this will be kind of an odd review with 4 stars and not somewhere I would go again (this was my first visit). The sandwiches were okay, the fries were good and I was glad to see they offered malt vinegar. For us, nothing about either sandwich screamed “the next time I want a sandwich, I’m driving across town to Penn Station.” Front counter guy was nice and the service was prompt.

Penn Station has been in town for a while but this is my first visit to Kokomo location. The restaurant was clean and cool. The staff were welcoming and patient. My wife went with the Club and I had the Philly which was on sale $5 for the small. Very fast and very tasty….I was very happy with this visit.

Had Philly steak sub. It tasted ok. Actually a little bland. Not enough cheese. When I think Philly steak and cheese I expect it to be gooey with the cheese stretching as I eat it. Didn’t get that here. Customer service friendly and efficient. Place a little noisy for my taste. Music drowned out conversations.

STOP! We eat Subway at least once a month, and if you like Subway, do not waste your time with Penn Station. If you like Penn and haven’t tried Subway, do yourself a favor. We decided to try Penn Station to change it up. Wow, just wow. Grossly overpriced, comparatively miniscule amount of toppings, and bland tasting. The quantity and quality of the toppings were what I would expect from a convenience store after midnight. You have been warned!

First time trying this place ever and I got a hair in my sandwich. The quality is something I could make at home. The prices are ridiculous for what they give you. They give you french fry pieces and not actual dippable fries. I only gave them a two star because the supervisor replaced my whole meal because of the hair. The woman making the sandwiches had her hair everywhere under a hat and not up and out of the way. I would say hairnets should help but for a first time visit, I’m pretty disappointed in this place.

Wendy’s made a sale today because this location in Kokomo is not easy to find while I was walking around. Get a big sign by the road or something. You can’t do business if no one can find your business without GPS.

Prices are a bit high. Sandwiches are nothing exciting for the price paid. Fries are VERY expensive, so I did not order them. Staff behind the counter are very nice. Saw the manager (perhaps franchise owner) he watched the workers like a hawk, did nothing, and absolutely would not move out of customers way. Stood there and made people walk around him. It’s a small pathway from order to pickup, and he’s not a small dude. The person in charge set the tone for me, I won’t return. Only reason I didn’t rate one star was the staff. They were great. Everything else was not good. First PS experience, and will be the last.
