The sub bread isn’t anything like I am used to but that aside they were delish and super fresh. I used online ordering and it was packed and ready to go in time for pickup. I wouldn’t order a hot sub unless planning to eat it right away. The thin bread can’t sustain it. The parking lot isn’t the easiest to enter and exit during busy lil downtown hours. Staff was friendly and the place look clean. Will order again. We were so hungry we didn’t take pics of the subs opened

Subs are really good but they’re very pricey at around $16 incl/tax for a 12in (filled with probably half the volume of a Subway 12in, albeit with much better ingredients.) Fries are $5+ for modest portions.

So I popped in wanting to order some fries. I had only been here once before and fell in love. Not so much this time. Seems as though I got the bottom of the fry bag and they were cooked a bit longer than they should have been. Great customer service as well as fast!

Do not order a salad. I’m a big fan of their sandwiches but the Chicken Ceaser salad is straight trash. $14.17 for the salad. It looks like the lettuce and chicken came prepackaged, with some really bland dressing. There was no parmesan. You can get a better quality salad from McDonald’s… Even any random gas station has a better quality salad for 1/3rd the price.

This location and its staff was INCREDIBLE to work with for our catering needs. Jimmy Johns was beyond a disappointment and Penn Station went out of their way to accommodate us. Carol, Mary and the boys that came in on Sunday morning to put together our order and then without being asked loaded it into my car!! They were professional, polite, and had it done 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time! We will be giving all of our business to them for both personal and catering sandwich purchases. Thank you for NOT bending to the new norm of our society, you guys are rock stars!!!

I went there just before they were closing on a Friday night for a pick up, and my nephew called and wanted a sandwich last minute. Even after everything was put away they graciously made my add on order without any issues or rushing or attitude. I felt bad for keeping them but they were really nice about it. Having retail experience, I get wanting to be done for the night but I love that kind of service.

First time getting Penn. It is tough to give a positive review, more than likely wont spend $ on it again.

If I ever try Penn Station again it will not be at this location. All of the employees here seemed to just not give a flying #^<"* about wanting to actually work there. And the whole set up is just odd, place your order but then go down the line to pay, where there isn't actually anyone there to help you pay. The flavors of the subs were decent, but poorly put together and my sub fell apart in my hand trying to eat it. If I'm going to spend money on a sub or sandwhich I'd rather go to Chadd's Bistro down the way.

This has always been a favorite but I have to say since Bernie sold out it’s not a +5 star anymore.

Penn Station is my Husbands and my favorite sub shop. The food is great and the people are even better. When I’m in a bad mood, my husband knows to bring me there. It’s a deli sub joint. Fries are made to order. You can see them put a potato in the slicer and then cook it. It’s super delish. Also, their homemade cookies are oh so good. I would recommend Penn Station to everyone. The Penn Station in downtown Rochester is the best. Maybe because it’s the original Penn Station. I love the grilled Italian sub the best. Yummy.
