I have to say this place is a refreshing change from your typical restaurant. It’s like a mix of fast food service with restaurant quality food. To my surprise, the pasta is freshly made. The pizza was also good. We all enjoyed our food. The herb infused oil was great on anything we put it on. Service was good as well.

Good with the potential to be great. We went last night during their soft opening and the food is very good but a few things still need to be worked on. The restaurant is setup to order at the main counter, grab drinks from a fountain, and then grab a table until they call that your food is ready.

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised with the menu options. It’s a little pricey, but mostly worth it. Just know that it’s very much an Italian vibe so that means dishes you may not get at Olive Garden. Their drink options are definitely worth coming for!

New Restaurant in Murfreesboro! Penne Pazze is, I think “fast casual” Italian. Upon arrival despite a sign that said “Please wait to be seated” we were told to sit wherever. Inside there are only tables for 6 or bar seating. It felt a little awkward to be a party of 2 at a table for 6 and I was wondering if it was “family style” I’m just not a person who likes to sit with strangers. For the duration of our lunch it was just the 2 of us so that made me happy.

Somewhat disappointing after all the great reviews we’ve heard. Pepperoni pizza was burnt, broccoli pasta was very broccoli overpowered and did not look or seem to be anything like the picture on the website, neither was the panna cotta. I do realize they just opened and it was very busy when we went, but for the price and the fact that you basically serve yourself, I expected to be blown away by the food and I couldn’t even eat my pasta. We might give them a bit to work out the kinks before deciding whether or not to try again.

I got the special of the carbonara and I loved it. This is only the second time I’ve ever had handmade pasta and it was toothsome and creamy. The service was great and they accommodated me with my dog. I asked for a bowl of water for her and they came back with a full bowl for her. I feel as if the prices are a bit high for a casual type place where you order at the counter and pickup yourself. But overall great food and energy.

Amazing quality food, and outstanding service. Kat provided excellent dining area service and chef Riccardo ensured each dish was prepared to my groups satisfaction. The flat bread appetizer and desserts framed the entire experience with rich but not overwhelming flavors throughout the entire experience.
