I came after lunch about 2; no crowd very peaceful and enjoyable. I didnt wait long for my food. Everyone was nice and very accommodating. There was so many sweets as I was looking around. Couldn’t just get the grilled chicken avacodo sandwich meal. Had to buy cookies, pecan brownie and their blueberry cobbler. Everything was delicious. Will definitely come back!

One of the only places in downtown Whiteville to take a card! Menu is more than your typical grill fare, they have revamped their menu to include carb free bowls, avocado grilled chicken, salads, etc… Friendly and quick service. They also have a coffee bar!!! Espresso, latte, and other things available!

Penn’s Grill was a pleasant lunchtime surprise in the small town of Whiteville. The relatively small diner had a plentiful variety of dishes, fresh veggies, meats, and seafood. My leafy salad with fruit and shrimp were fresh and delicious, plus, the coffee and the service were excellent. I’ll start looking for reasons to pass through Whiteville during breakfast and lunch times.
