Simple Man
Tasty food and open pretty late for the area. The employees were polite and served me quickly which was really nice. Overall no complaints from me and will eat there again when my fiancee is wanting fried fish or fried tomatoes. I had the grilled catfish and it was good as well.

The place was clean. The food was decent. Pricey for the quality and serving amount. It was our first time to eat at Penn’s. We will not being eating there again. The staff was so unproffesional , talking amongst themselves loudly , not really concerned with the customers. The lady who took our order, acted as if she really didn’t want to help and we felt like she really didn’t want our business. Like we were a bother to her. I read reviews before we went , hoping we’d have a good experience as others did.

$13 “large” fish platter had 5 TINY pieces of fish. This was not a good value, to put it nicely. Glad I didn’t order the regular size. When I asked the staff member, she shrugged and smiled, as if to say that’s just the normal deal.

Food was fresh but customer.service and portions were substandard. Portions were like a kids meal. The family pack was filled with fillets cut into portions. No way can this be acceptable. It is like little strips for the same price as when the portions were more filling. Pleased with taste but not at all with the service at.this location or the portions.

Horrible horrible customer service!!! I order my food at 10:41am. I’m waiting and waiting. All the workers in the back laughing and talking loud and all not giving a care about the customers. Finally at 11:15 the girl says oh we waiting for the grease to get hot. Really?!?!? Patiently trying to keep my cool and finally get my food at 11:35 am and my hush puppies are missing. The guy acted like I didn’t get hush puppies by the sign clearly says 2 sides and 2 hush puppies with the #6. Asked for a cup of ice since I’ve been waiting forever without really any communication and the guy says there is a charge for a cup of ice. I was like I’ve been waiting all this time and I can’t get a cup of ice?? He shook his head no. I never write reviews but this is totally unacceptable!!! They don’t ever have to worry about me coming there again!!!

A large plate consists of 4 shrimps and broken catfish nuggets and enough cold french fries to fed 4 people….cost? Right at $15.00. The catfish nuggets looked like the belly fat on large catfish. The manager(I am guessing)…had to help cashier open the register drawer…this cashier with plastic glove on hand raked through the plate and explained it was correct…then she closes plate …tried to give it to me after touching keys on register. I declined the whole order. I will never return to that place. Small portions? More like minute crumbs.
