Would have liked to give this place a 5 but the state of the kitchen was a little anxiety inducing to anyone observant enough to peek inside. Prep was not done and although we were the only people who ordered, our sandwiches took about 10minutes to assemble. We ordered the lamb sando and the porchetta. The lamb left something to be desired but the porchetta was delightful. Delicious sandwich.

I’m looking for the best fried chicken sandwich in MA. Pennypackers is quite good. The chicken itself is excellent, crispy and juicy and tasty and the biscuit is also very tasty. The cabbage is a bit greasy but has some interesting flavors like spring onions.

Got the Porchetta sandwich, and it was pretty freaking tasty. They’ve been at that location for 5 years and rotate the menu quarterly, but the Porchetta sandwich has always stayed. Service takes a bit longer, because they prepare all orders from scratch.

Their food truck is a joke. Food is disgusting and ridiculously over priced. $14 for a still frozen pretzel dipped in oil. The bread itself was grey under the orange oil. Took 1 bite and had to throw it away. Was like eating sand.

We had the grilled chicken sandwich. Picture does not do it justice; this sandwich was delicious. It had marinated tomatoes and avocado, all on a yummy bun. I will 10/10 be coming back for this in the near future.

This food truck was the poster child for overpriced and mediocre food. My fried chicken sandwich looked and tasted like it came from a high school cafeteria. I won’t be eating here again.

If I was writing this review on the food taste alone, I would give Pennypacker’s 4 stars. The reason it earns only 2 is for how gross the in person experience was. Our order was taken and food was delivered by a dishevelled man wearing a grease stained ripped tshirt. While we were eating at the restaurant I heard a regular flow of hacking coughing sounds coming from him behind the counter. This wasn’t just a bit of light coughing and made myself and my friend feel pretty uncertain about the sanitary situation of our food. My friend ate less than half of her food before she felt too repulsed by the coughing and threw the rest out.

This used to be my favorite breakfast sandwich in the world…but since covid they continually change their recipes & their breakfast sandwich is unrecognizable. Served on a untoasted hamburger bun with arugula…really really unfortunate.

Came here for the Porchetta, they lived up to the hype, it was amazing, I went into a food coma for the rest of the afternoon. I’d advise eating this when you don’t have to go back to work. So worth it.
